Hi Everyone,
I'm new to all of this so I dont really know how it works. I have a prescription with one of the clinics and someone told me that this way would be more affordable. I have registered and given all my details, including the clinics, and i'm not sure what to do next. I also haven't got a clue about the products.
Will someone contact me?
Thanks in advance.
Welcome @Kato2611 and lets see if we can help and which clinic are you with as in where were you prescribed the products and what products are on the prescription and hopefully once we know that we can take it from there and see what you need to do next

Hello and welcome to the forums
Tangerine Boost is Releaf's standard first prescription. I actually liked the TB and found it great for daytime anxiety.
They are not a cheap or budget option if cost is a factor. I found the doctors were fantastic but the pricing and choice of flower was poor. £30 per month to pay £8 per gram for a choice of 13ish strains stuck for me. There are however plenty of other cheaper options with cheaper flower and a choice of about 200 strains and it is easy to change clinics.
Don't forget to investigate CBD and CBG for the full therapeutic entourage effect
The first thing you're going to want to do is request your discharge letter before giving them any more money.
They were my first clinic and had more than £700 out of me for products that didn't work. There are a lot of clinics on here that are more affordable and are free to join for transferring patients.
I wasn't going to go with them at all, due to the cost. I haven't paid anything yet. Like I said i'm so new to this I wouldn't even know what to do with the flower, grinder etc Would you say its best to go with a clinic? Or just buy on here?

You have to go with a clinic and get a prescription. You cannot buy cannabis on here, we just wax lyrical on here about our experiences.
You also do not have to have flower if you do not want or are used to that method of delivery. There vapes available, sublingual oils, gummies, tablets etc
Welcome to the Community @Kato2611
I'm with Medicann and it cost nothing to transfer and there are no charges for consultations and you can request as many as needed all free, you only pay £4.99 postage next day delivery and just pay for your meds. There are other clinics like IPS who only charge the £4.99 postage too with a bit more choice and consistent what I've been seeing. There's another clinic or too also that just charge postage especially if your on benefits and struggle or need to look after your finances

Hope you get sorted, any issues or if you get stuck on anything let us know, someone is always about to help, nice people here in the MedBud community.
With you being new to Cannabis you'll find there are some things only your doctor can sort out for you, adverse reactions or meds not working, most people don't, like myself as I have 47yrs experience but I would recommend go low and go slow with everything on your Medical Cannabis Journey. There is a choice of Flower to vape, there's vape rosin/resin cartridges and pens oils and pastilles. Have you ever smoked or vaped, if not you may find this difficult but you may take to it, there's oils which you just put under the tongue with a syringe like you'd give your kid medicine and pastilles which are just like a sweet, but best dissolved in the mouth but I always chew I cant help it
I'm so embarrassed but laughing that I thought I could get it on here. Recently diagnosed with ADHD (aged 50 jeez) but absolutely need clear instructions at least twice haha

I have smoked most of my life but been vapint for the past few months, due to blood pressue and ADHD meds. This is one of the reasons I would like to try this, anxiety (but the meds are great) and insomnia which I drink to help with (not talking a bottle of whiskey or anything, but i'd still like to cut down massively).
Thanks for your welcoming support. I have now registered with Medicann. Thank you.

You should be ok vaping flower, you'll need a vaping device for this and there are many out there and can be expensive for one that will give you good results. It depends on your budget which device you go for, as I said if you need a device ask on here and someone will help. It took me i think 4 devices before I found the one for me.
If you go for the Rosin cartridges you'll need a device with a 510 thread like the "Yocan" that gives you more precise voltage control (Heat) or something similar, you can buy ones that are quite discreet.

As some of the other lovely regulars have pointed out, MedBud is for research unfortunately! - I don't think you're the first person to make that mistake though, the planner on the main site can give off the impression that this is a sort of marketplace!
RE the clinic, don't go any further with Releaf as you've also heard, they're not worth your time, effort or mental health.
If you're on the look out for some clinic suggestions here is my take on things.
If you need a doctor to support you and tell you what is most suitable for you then I would reccomend Curaleaf, they're a low budget clinic and are very cautious with their general approach to things. They're not patient led, so whilst they do listen to you they make the decisions. Plenty of patients start here, especially those without experience. These guys are what you thought Releaf were.
If you want to make your own choices but still have a doctor involved then you have 2 great options in CB1 Medical and Alternaleaf, I've been with both and I would probably give the service edge to CB1 and the product availability edge to Alternaleaf. In both you will have a doctor help you in your journey and they'll recomend different treatment paths depending on your feedback. Alternaleaf are more liberal than CB1 and you may find reviews at Alternaleaf become video ordering calls with little discussion about your health.
If you want a doctor to be involved but you want something a little more premium then Integro and Mamedica® are good options. although I don't think you really get anything here that you don't at the 3 recomended so far.
If you just want to be left alone, no doctors, no appts, just you ordering what you need then check out Medicann. If you need any kind of help or input they're not clinic for you but for a lot of people the independence is refreshing.
If you're a mental health patient and want the best of the best then check out Cannabis Clinic Cardiff. I'm a new patient with them and you'll find the level of care fantastic. Unfortunately they're expensive. You do have access to all pharmacies, which should be a right but unfortunately is a privildge so few share.
The other good options on the list are Airmed, Their patient community officer (I've butchered her title!) @KarenGray is a darling in our little world (give her a google, it will blow your mind!). Wonderful woman and anywhere she works is bound to be the kind of clinic we want around here. I would recomend them for Karen alone to be completely honest.
There is also Auravia, a newish clinic that also seem to be the same team that run Zoto clinic. They're budget friendly and like Airmed and CCC will look to order medication from any pharmacy if required. Auravia is a clinic I had really good conversations with and almost switched myself before settling on CCC.
plenty of options and you're never tied into any of them! If you're unhappy you just go somewhere else - I am the champion of this.

You can chew if you want to, I always have done in the past, it'll still get in your system. Its supposed to get into the system a little quicker dissolving chewing in the mouth, supposed to
My quick take on this, if you're so new to the whole thing that you're unfamiliar with flowers & grinders & stuff, there are a lot more beginner friendly methods you can choose from, others mentioned oils, carts, pastilles.
If you go down the flower route (which is in my opinion the best, but we're all different and have different needs), just make sure you buy a scale with 0.01g stepping. The standard vapeable flower amount is 0.1g or less for a beginner.
