1779957578148.jpegI sold a 12" speaker cab to a guy from another town who plays in a band, I stalk follow them on Facebook to make sure the cabinet's being treated ok :P , and having looked this morning am buzzing to see it there nestling under the White Marshall head :D

Made my day!

Couple of very classy guitars there, a very old friend and colleague of mine owns a geetar shop in the Bath area, travels the world buying and selling classic Gibsons, Strats, he has some big name owned stuff too, Aladdins Cave :-)

They're playing quite close to me next month so I'll finally get to see them :)

I bought something online from a guitar shop in Bath the other year, quite centrally located iIrc but can't remember what or who :) , the mind boggles at the price of some of those guitars proper artists have owned but we have no such shops in this town.

ATB Guitars, Mike sold it last year, I didn't know he finalised the sale, guess he is in the Bahamas by now, a few years younger than me.

Check those classic geetars... and what they are worth now! Worth reading the history, of one or two 8-D

I bought a bass guitar, 4 years ago (not an expensive one). Still haven't learnt to play it. It will probably end up on my funeral pyre the way it's going. I came to the realisation that I would never be able to play it like Victor Wooten, no matter how hard I try. I am not gifted that way. ;)

Deon Estus, I like the way he plays the bass guitar instrument and how he makes it look so relaxed and easy...and Mark King obv. I am a drummer. Have played in a couple of bands in my teens, one being 'The Bay of Pigs'.

Just seen your post, opened the link and just smiled as the first one's a Telecaster which is my favourite electric.

YouTube for lessons, headphones for practice.

I started 20 years ago but still can't play properly. :D

I've played for over 60 years, I have actually got worse, I used to be able to jam along with jazz, rock, blues but these days I can tell I'm not cutting it, if I'm electricing it family rapidly close all the doors or go out ... sheesh.:p

Bought the same guitar in 2010 for £350 the only gibson i could afford lol. I loved sg types and single coil sounds. Lightest body ever so no weight pressing against you like my epi sg did.
I have never played a guitar like this the combos from 6 switch selection is unreal from fender sound to les paul sound it has it all imo.
I have about 8 guitars and cant play any as too sore with headaches. Loved the gibson gotw and gotms guitars.

The rotary tone control on a guitar is mad! My 2 Vox clones have them, on the bottom one it's the brilliance knob, and blatantly pinched from a Matchless amp :P

1780489090090.pngand the blue attempt at an arrow's pointing at the switch on the top one1780489304521.jpeg so they've done well getting one in the guitar body, great on an amp as you can still use your guitar tone pot to roll bass on and off.[/S]

I bet it sounds amazing . The tonal range on them are unreal. They call the guitar the gib strat n bill lawrence done sg electrics so only fitting it was lawrence blades electrics n chicken switch being the originator on gib l6s
