I am Billy - new clinic

I registered my interest as well, I'm looking into changing clinics anyway so why not hear what they have to say?
"The foundation highlights that RESCAS’s remit currently is only for patients under 18 (paediatric epilepsy). They are campaigning for extension to adults." GPT said this, no further information available about conditions/location/procedures, etc.

From GPT and online information they push mostly for NHS prescription medication so maybe that's why they can have lower prices?
RESCAS The Refractory Epilepsy Specialist Clinical Advisory Service (RESCAS) was set up in 2020 to support paediatric neurologists when considering medical cannabis (and other new treatments) in cases of intractable epilepsy; its impartial recommendations are passed onto patients’ own doctor, and it was through this route that Billy had his NHS funding reinstated in October 2020. I think the clinic will be for adults as well and cover a wider range of conditions. Billy is now 20, so is now moving in to adult care

Not had the best experience dealing with Charlotte, I have asked legitmate questions over X and the UPA Facebook page and have been blocked on both.

Throws her toys out the pram when you don't conform to her way of thinking or ideology and proceeds to insinuate I'm part of a mob cartel who intimidates people.. Lady likes to throw shit and slander people but isn't so receptive when she is challenged on such behaviour.

Wish Billy all the best, but I'm staying well clear of this shit or anything involving her.

I've just seen this new clinic launch. Has anybody heard anything about this?

I Am Billy Health - UK Non-Profit; Plant Medicine Holistic Health

All-inclusive plant based medicine packages;

  • Free initial online consultation and follow-up’s
  • Flat rate of £3.75g all THC strains
  • Prescription CBD
  • CBD only strains
  • Available across Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man
My concern with this is that Billy's Mum has already scammed half the industry in the past.

From what I recall she was giving her son THC/CBD blends the selling CBD oil blends and claiming it was the same thing. So many parents bought it up with hope of helping their loved ones only to be scammed.

Maybe it's different but I'm going to have a real hard time trusting a known scammer.

Have to admit the whole launching a public attack on MedBud thing for the downloadable labels was a bit of a red flag

I'm still interested in finding out more but appreciate the warning messages here and will consider carefully when I get a response to the registering of interest (have received nothing, not even an acknowledgement so far) and won't be jumping straight in to anything

I barely looked into this topic but there are so many red flags, don't ignore any of these.

Think about the last time a known, large scale scammer changed their ways... Yeah.

Think about the DARVO people who immediately misunderstand, gaslight, then attack you, and this is their default behaviour, do they ever change?

It immediately scares me how many people jump on the sob story of a scammer mum, just to confront corporate greed. This is exactly how populism and snake oil salesmans work. Please be very very careful what questionable people you send your personal details to.

Do you think someone who attacks and attacks and just puts on this fighting show all the time will be e.g. securely storing your data? They might even straight sell it to the highest bidder.

Again, be very careful, if something is too good to be true, it usually is. And THIS isn't even too good to be true. It's a researchable, shady, questionable operation of a likely scammer and contrarian.

Yes, same here, interested but will thread carefully. A simple auto-reply would have been nice and can't see why they would attack anyone in the industry when we should stand united clinics and patients against the greater enemy.
Most likely will swap clinics by the time they reply.

Yep definitely, tread carefully, for now it was just a name and email address, would need a very good level of comfort before sending anything more than that

No fees and flat 3.75 a g, whilst campaigning for NHS prescriptions (which would cannibalise their own buisness)? Sounds too good to be true, and the reports of a previous scam don’t help. I would love to be wrong and wish her all the best if it is a genuine effort though.

If this did come about at the prices advertised I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have much of a range as 95% of the supplier's will NOT agree to sell their products anywhere near that price

I suppose the trick would be to cut the out the traditional suppliers and go to the source/growers 🤷‍♂️so the less people involved along the line the easier it is to keep prices low.
