Shocking new images have emerged showing bugs in medical cannabis products, and I’m genuinely appalled. This raises serious concerns about quality control and the standards some brands are following or failing to follow. Patients rely on these products for their health, and the idea that contaminants like this are slipping through the cracks is unacceptable. The system clearly needs improvement, from stricter regulations to better enforcement, to ensure patients are receiving safe, clean medicine. It’s time for brands and the industry as a whole to step up, because this simply should NOT be happening!

Legality around driving and that a big factor here ,but I get what your saying , never got passed stuff with bugs in ,it was always weeded out if it did have before hitting the supply chain /streets . It certainly didn't expect to see bug in my medicine pot and without too much effort looking to be honest .

Is it still the case that our meds don't fall under consumer laws? If I find showstoppers like bugs, then either the pharmacy refunds or I will initiate a chargeback.

Not sure @node , and personally with only a g left it's not about that , where as others have found it much earlier would be a different mindset altogether I'd expect and I believe this will be addressed or has in some cases.

Sad but true. I suspect that was the only reason the criminals running this place made MedBud legal... Ideal world for me (let me have a dream lol) would be more to local life. Just need a village elder or two. Be much better to get your meds from the village healer...

That's probably the only reason that's keeping me on the medical cannabis at the mo. My current thinking is purchasing 10g's a month and then pick an ounce for £160 grown from a trusted source. Such a shame.

This petition has got 6 months less 1 day now and the brighter a start it gets immediately the more talk around the issue will become amplified ,getting my friends and family to sign this ,sort of turns 1 vote into 5 if you get me ,then if each of them has a couple of conversations ,well you understand .

I think i have a slightly different view… because I never had a trusted source.

I think buying illegal drugs as a women is a very different experience.

I’ve had more than one incident of sexual assault as a younger person buying during my clubbin years.


Ultimately, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Overall I’ve had some terrific medical cannabis, and I genuinely can’t believe I get to legally consume it every day.

Shit happens. People are not infallible, what will really be telling is what happens NOW.

How sad is it to say that is the way to get reliable product. Understandably some patients have no access to BM or only poor supply ,but a lot can source reliable stuff and have done for many years previous to medical.

Just to add most oz dealers around here are coke dealers too... so be careful who gets your money. Also @Lampylad you can get some very good strains just keep an eye out here and of course MedBud wiki.

I will do, I'm lucky as we used to have a collective of growers and if it was legal to grow my own I'd be straight back on it. Unfortunately the legal status is a concern (I've signed the petition). The Miracle Valley Canada Mac is up there with some of the decent homegrown I've had.

Personally I would rather stay on the medical as it's easier to pick and choose, finding what works for me.

All sorted here too ,eventually found a way to upload pictures and proof of pot to Mamedica® and pretty much instantly rang and arranged a replacement of my choice , and told how to dispose of offending bug pot.
Must admit didn't expect a replacement but its gladly accepted in these times.
Now where's that lump hammer.
