Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me, please, even if it's just pointing me to the correct forum to ask the question—first, some context.

I started my MC journey in June with Releaf (I know!) and initially stuck strictly to flower, with some mixed results. I am a complete newbie with this, and have no idea what the strains, terpenes and cannabinoids are.

I was due to go away with work for a while, so I needed something more discreet. I ordered a Jack Herer vape cartridge, which cost £75 and was Curaleaf branded. I called Curaleaf and was told that if I purchased the cart from them, it would be £30, so, of course, I left Releaf and went to Curaleaf. From them, I got another Jack Herer and tried a 200mg THC, 200 CBD to use during the day (I have Tangerine Boost (TB-T20) as a flower that works really well for me during the day) as I often go to gigs and can't take flower with me.

Unfortunately, the daytime vape doesn't work for my pain, so I'm on the lookout for a different one.

Curaleaf has now discontinued both of the carts because they're moving to inhale-activated devices, so I have moved clinics again to Medicann.

So here's the question - can someone with more knowledge and access to Medicann please take a look at the seven vape carts currently available and offer a suggestion for these two scenarios:

1) Daytime use to stop pain and allow me to keep walking and focused on what I'm doing, and
2) Evening use to stop pain and help me get a good night's sleep.

I will be using flower too, but I currently still have Tangerine Boost, Blackberry CBG and Green Kush to get through before I reorder.

Thanks

Welcome @LostInANewWorld and you have been on a little journey but hopefully you can find what you need now and I'm not quite sure which carts are available to you but I'll take a guess and these two below would be your typical daytime use carts that help with focus mood but a few people have reported the Electric Honeydew not been quite effective with pain .

The Sourdough cart has proved very effective for pain and sleep and has proved a real winner for patients so if not available now very much one to bare in mind for your next request (y)

Hopefully someone has a clearer picture of the carts you have available to you so we can be more precise (y)

That makes it easier 🙏
Just watched a little review on Peach Rizz and that looks a daytime profile cart and nicely priced too ,also the EHD is a quality cart and may help you with pain as we are all individuals so worth considering ,
I've just watched a Watermelon Splash review which says it helps the with sleeping so may fit the later in the day need also but seeing as they do stock Electric Honeydew I'd say it's just a matter of time before Sourdough is in stock and that is a solid one .

tangerine boost is strictly a day time flower as it's primarily Sativa. Blackberry CBG, It didn't;t work for me. However, Green Kush is a good sedative.

Tangerine Boost is awesome during the day. Blackberry CBG did literally nothing for me. Green Kush is m'eh compared to the Jack Herer cart in the evenings.

Yeah, but if you're in pain its whatever time of the day, right?

If you can afford it get the Honeydew for the day and use the sourdough on the night. Stay away from distillate vape carts as your not getting the full spectrum of cannabis

Welcome to the community. I feel you on Releaf. I started with them but only stayed for a month before I figured out how limited it was. I loved the Tangerine Boost (despite it being freeze dried) but nothing else they had worked for me
They had so much money out of me! The 150% markup on the Curaleaf cart was the last straw.

I complained about it to them, too. They sold me another strain, told me to raise a complaint to get a refund of the CBG and then ghosted me before denying the refund.
That's the issue when its unlicensed medication, I've heard of others getting refunds elsewhere but its pretty rare if you do.
