Clinic
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 CB1 Medical
I was wondering what clinic people recommend who have been using med for a while and have moved clinics, hindsight you have experienced. I am with releaf but they do not appear to offer prescriptions to use elsewhere and will not discuss what they have available with me. Although they are very quick and efficient I need to have some choice to find what is right for me, so may look into moving clinics in the coming months. I would say in hindsight releaf is probably one of the best clinics for someone new to med can who has not experienced it before, but for someone used to it it’s frustrating not being able to choose what you want, I sit in envy looking at users here and what they have available and choose each month.

I have read the clinic list and note which other users are with, I am tempted to try CB1 Medical, Curaleaf, or Mamedica®. The cost of consultation and moving is not really a concern, its more about having a good range to choose from to find the right one for me.

You need to give the new clinic a discharge letter from old one before you can be on boarded
They did this with me after my first prescription with the new clinic had been dispensed and then I asked Mamedica® for the discharge letter so there should be no hold up there and on the consultation they clear that up with you as this is the same two clinics I transferred between.

There shouldn't be, but part of the reason I'm transferring is hold-ups and being ignored

Ok thanks for that folks, at least I know what to expect (y)

Hey @Moon I'm currently transferring clinics.

Just a general question - did you have to get something from your old clinic, like a letter or someting, or were you just able to tell them to get stuffed when your new one accepted you?
Hi, you need a discharge letter, but, do not ask for it until you are accepted and get your first script written by Cardiff, is the normal process. Get the script, then request a discharge letter and leave your present clinic then email discharge letter to Cardiff.

Nice one, thank you

I was able to onboard with CB1 Medical without my discharge letter, I was asked to provide it after my consultation. I still received my flower before I sent in by email my discharge letter. I think each clinic works differently.

Does anyone know, when using the 'direct' pharmacies (as opposed to a clinic which has an in-house one), some will know I'm currently swapping and wondering how it will work.

Do they print and include a copy of your actual prescription? I don't mean the invoice, I mean the actual prescription.

Or will certain ones do that and others not?

I'm wanting a physical copy each month ideally, and don't have a printer or easy access to one... Thanks!

So far my clinic has sent me an image but on Saturday I received a photocopy of my script from IPS and this is the first time I've ever had a physical copy with the product iirc

Cheers folks, this is encouraging :)

Going to be actually leaving the house a little and staying in other places over the coming months, and want to have all paperwork in hand in case of harassment

Tomorrow will be 2hr round trip to a library with a printer, hopefully will avoid it in future

Hi mate I just transferred clinic , the process every clinic is different I think with Alternaleaf I had my first appointment with the pharmacist then followed by the consultant then was informed after MTD which’s will be no problem being accepted selected my MC which I received yesterday 😊 before that I was sent email requesting discharge letter from previous clinic and this is my new chapter of my journey with MC.
