Ok so I've gone for the volcano Hybrid (newest UK model with ceramic coated chamber) to be my main at home device, and keeping the Mighty+ as the portable

Any hints or pearls of wisdom for the machine, using it, cleaning frequency, etc? It arrives today at some point, so obviously excitement is off the scale

If you think I've made a terrible mistake feel free to share that too

My favourite experience with a volcano type device (balloon and whip.) Was way back an arizer q bout 10-12 years ago ,the strain was Blues, first with the balloons the later the whip and the flavour and effect was probably one of the most pleasant I've experienced with canna. Can't seem to recreate that anymore but I very rarely fire my new one up now,tend to use mighty+ ,but with the new temperature range compared to mighty the volcano will unlock more terpines as some activate at temps higher than the mighty will achieve. You'll also need to raise your temps as in say you vape at 180° On the mighty ,the equivalent on the volcano will be about 200° I would of thought maybe.

Yeah I've seen that, an app that lets you program increase of temp by X increments after Y intervals. I'm guessing it'll be a case of fine tuning a preferred sequence.

Balloon or whip best so far ,and glad to see your happy with it. Sometimes a high price is well worth it.
Does anyone know if or how we can be prescribed these as I believe storz&b equipment are the only devices passed as medical devices.The implication being not having to pay VAT.

I had a Crafty, it's good enough but you have to charge it up virtually non-stop it feels like

Haven't tried the balloon yet, or even the 'full' bowl size (using the Bickel bullet adaptor) need to put it through its paces fully at the weekend when there's no work...

I'm leaning towards the Venty at the moment simply for the fast heat-up time (15-20 secs)

When I wake up middle of the night, if I'm quick I can normally put myself back out with a bong or something similar. Thing is, if I focus on anything for more than a minute I'm going to wake myself back up in the process - which includes rolling a joint.

Right now it takes maybe 10-15 seconds to load and shoot a bong

The Tinymight, Venty and Solo 3 heat ups are similar. Really fast. I know many have Ventys that are ok, but my guess is there will be a Venty+ that deals with the many teething problems that some people have again and again. Mixed stories about support, cos I think the mess has been overwhelming.

dosing capsules themselves metal? If so, they should be infinitely cleanable with IPA as suggested above.

There is a difference between aluminium, stainless steel and titanium options for many devices though. My TM2 came with a single titanium one, but I've never been bothered to use it. But I'm fairly immobile.

I did also get some silicone lids for nothing on AliExpress, so I can use both the capsule and fill two stems if I ever needed on the go.

But I also use a Madheaters Reload anyway on the go...
