Hi everyone,

I’m currently with Releaf and just wanted to get a bit of a wider picture by hearing about other people’s experiences — the good and the not-so-good.

With Releaf, I’ve found:

• I don’t get a huge amount of choice with my medication, as it’s mostly picked for me rather than being able to browse options.
  • Prices feel fairly fixed (for example £80 for 10g). I totally get that £80 on its own isn’t outrageous, but over time it can start to add up.
  • There’s also the £40 per month membership fee, which can feel a bit pricey overall — especially as I work full time and live alone, so I do have to be mindful of costs.
I’d love to hear from others:

•Which clinic you’re with 💚
•What you like about it
•. •Any downsides worth knowin
•How much choice you get with strains, pharmacies, and pricing

Not here to bash any clinic at all — just trying to learn and make the best decisions going forward.

Hope this isn’t too personal to ask — feel free to share only what you’re comfortable with 💚

Thanks in advance 💚

Hey, mine isn't in the list - Cannabis Clinic Cardiff

I like the fact that they don't make me use the phone outside of consultations. They treat email like they would the phone, and almost always come back to me same day.

I can access any and all CBPMs available, I get to choose everything, I pay the pharmacy price and not an inflated clinic price for meds, I have full flexibility when making my requests - I can choose any pharmacy for any item, and based on my limits I can break up my script requests into any number of individual requests (i.e. I can send a 10g request to pharmacy A today, then another to Pharmacy B tomorrow, then 3 things to 3 different pharmacies the day after, etc).

Oh, and I never pay delivery (unless I request a single script be split into multiple deliveries, but I don't). So I can send a request to my clinic today for example, for an item from Specials. That is considered a single script, and I don't pay delivery. If, the week after, I send another to go to Specials, it's considered separate, and again, I don't pay delivery.

The downside is the cost, but if you can afford the up-front and the ongoing, it's well worth it in my opinion in terms of the level of care, service, and freedom. Based on what you said above it's cheaper than Releaf at £33.33 so I can see any downsides personally looking at your current situation if you were to move to CCC other than the initial £250

Thanks for sharing — really appreciate such a detailed reply 💚

Cannabis Clinic Cardiff sounds great in terms of flexibility and freedom, especially being able to choose any CBPMs, split scripts, and use different pharmacies. The email-only communication outside of consultations also sounds like a big plus.

Just to check I’ve understood correctly — when you say you can use different pharmacies, does that still all sit under one clinic (CCC), or does it mean you can effectively access products that are usually associated with other clinics too (for example those often prescribed via Alternaleaf, Mamedica®, etc.)?

The upfront £250 is probably the biggest hurdle for me at the moment, even if the monthly cost works out cheaper than Releaf in the long run. Still really helpful to hear that the level of care, service, and freedom makes it feel worth it if you can afford it.

Thanks again for taking the time to explain — definitely given me something to think about

I can get anything from anywhere. I make all the requests via my clinic, and I don't even have to specify the pharmacy if I don't want to - they will work out who has it / most suitable to use.

If I request 3 things, and a single pharmacy has them all, they will do the working out for me and send it to one place. I used to specify pharmacies when I first joined but now I just leave it to them. I just have to pick what I want, they do the rest.

I get stuff from Montu that is affiliated with Alternaleaf, I get stuff from IPS who are affiliated with Medicann, I can get stuff from Curaleaf who have their own clinic.

The pharmacies can have deals with certain clinics, but they will still accept outside scripts from clinics like mine, so I effectively get to bypass all this back scratching and limitations that these businesses put in place to try and make more money
