Those tests are hit and miss. The saliva ones are a bit more accurate.
Best guess, the manager turfed them all in the bin after they were done. At the end of the day if he drives a Tele, he's working on a building site or a farm. Tele drivers are not ten a penny like counterbalance drivers, so if you have a good driver that turns up every day and does good work and you fire him, you are going to be up shit creek without a Tele driver and you are going to get behind schedule.
There was a company i worked at a few years back. There had been an accident at a different site where some dipshit stuck his head where it shouldn't have been and it got squished, so they decided to test everyone. Well everyone was tested and everyone on site passed. Now consider on site there were maybe three people who weren't smoking weed, out of 60 drivers (per shift). The unofficial rumour was all the tests were thrown in the bin and one of the managers did all 180 tests himself and those results were sent to head office. It probably helped that we were surpassing the stats of every other warehouse in the chain. But there was virtually no one who was clean at that place. I sure as hell wasn't. But don't fix what isn't broken was bandied about.
Saying that we did have a meeting of sorts where the site manager told everyone not to be a dickhead (exact words), don't stick your head between the curtain and the reversing wagons, use some common sense and if you don't have any buy a fucking manual and read it. Proper motivational speech to a bunch of stoners who were very good at what they did. Then we signed a piece of paper that literally said "I <insert name> will not be a dickhead and will use common sense." and went back to what we normally did. Asking the super, later on he said it was a strange management style, but it made a change to all the usual pencil pushers with a broom handle up their arse.
