Agree. Its the same for me + countless others. Other than working during sickness or escape the UK - which sounds fantastic until you realise how expensive everywhere became. The cigarettes are close to the UK prices in NL now. Huge property bubble = nowhere to live cheaply anymore in the cities.There's always going to problems and stuff mate.
I personally try and not get involved in it all unless I get caught up in it.
My big problem is having to pay for my medication while I'm sick. I have mentioned this to surgeons,consultants and doctors but it will never change.
I am just glad that I can pick the right medications and have choices
It was a very cheap country pre Euro now its worse than here really as worse increases - they put dutch coffee up by so much some cannot afford it - its the same as us being charged a minimum price for any tea....Its also physically close to full in Amsterdam in certain areas. Insane.
