Hello all, just had first consultation yesterday been prescribed up to 120g of flower per month, been a user for 10+ years i know what works for me and what strains i like, do i have to purchase what the doctor has prescribed? he picked 30g out of the 120g - 20g of that is haze tho which im not really a fan off i hvae added 50g of other strains to the prescription but yeah do i need to buy everything on the prescription or can i leave the hazes that he has picked?

Welcome to the Community @dbm97 you should be able to change the prescription if you phone your clinic up and explain you don't want any hazes at the moment, or not keen if thats the case mate

Seeing as you are with CB1 Medical they should allow you to use an outside pharmacy and also let you change the products you don't want on your prescription and your limit of 120g maybe because of the Christmas period as CB1 have doubled peoples allowance to compensate for the holidays unless they have directly told you that 120g/month is your limit .

ahh nice one no idea to be honest said i use 3g on average so was expecting 90g but still fine for now, thanks for the info tho much appreciated

Did they give you High Silver by any chance haha ? That's what my Doc tried to give me on my first script with CB1 Medical. I just rang them up and changed it.

They did haha, done the same got rx-11 and rs11 but was a bad choice, not impressed with those 2 to be honest!

Its either the High silver or the Lavender Cake they seem to try and throw to newbies. The 2 aren't bad actually, not had them in a good while

Sorry to hear that man . Was that the £10 a g RX-11? One I've been impressed with is the MAC from 4C Labs and Krft. One thing with Medical Flower is sometimes they need a few days in the jar to come back to life a bit. I have some Hawaiian Fanta at the moment and that took almost 3 weeks in the Jar with a Boveda to go from almost 0 smell to having a nice pong.

The High Silver is basically Super Silver haze. It is a solid haze and appears to be very consistent. I feel it should be priced at £5g though, so a little overpriced but then I think that about all strains lol. I'm not surprised they offer it to new patients. I've had it many times and never been disappointed.

Just this week a few of the old Curaleaf strains were updated to Organic ie. Royal Moby and Green Gelato so if the High Silver goes to Organic that'd be an improvement too and this was the first one on medical I loved although the quality wasn't outstanding but it just added that Sativa Hybrid into my regime that had been missing so improved my mental health massively at the time and maybe I have to try it again just to see if it can have the same effect again
