Hello all,

I recently got my prescription via Releaf and have been using Glass Pharms Tangerine boost as a day time flower and Blackberry Balanced for a night time dosing. I have CPTSD with its relevant tag along symptoms and have recently been diagnosed with ADHD. Have smoked Cannabis for years and am familiar with some but not all strains, finding vaping it a new experience with positive results, especially being able to cook with the PVB, making things go further. I have been doing some looking around trying to find strains to help productivity and for shrugging off the crippling procrastination that ADHD can manifest. Can anyone give me any strains they have had success with? Thanks in advance for any engagement with my request. Nick.

Welcome to MedBud @Jollygreengiant!

Someone smarter than me can confirm but don't Releaf prescribe from a very small formulary?

There's a billion reasons to run a million miles from releaf but without getting into all that I think your options are fairly limited compared to the rest of the market.

Cheers brother, appreciate the welcome! I had heard a few things about them that weren't good. But so far I'm not able to criticise the service. I have had great contact with customer support and they have been very fast to help with any problems I have had. I am a bit puzzled by the pricing they have when other Glass Pharm products are listed cheaper elsewhere. I see that they have a smaller selection than some dispensaries, but at this point I am Ok with the choice whilst I am getting settled into prescribed Cannabis as opposed to BM where I have not been able to secure a steady supply of a recognisable strain that does what I need it to. I'm still getting my head around getting good green through the post by courier at the mo if I'm honest.. I will probably be moving clinic once I have settled into how things work, but I have also seen plenty of people ripping other clinics for their lack of customer contact and how long people take to get an answer from support etc. Seems there is no one clinic that can tick all boxes if you go by reviews and I was already underway with Releaf needing to get a prescription sorted so as not to lose my clean record for DBS checks. Happy to hear what you see as issues with Releaf so that I can compare my own experience or be prepared for things that may become an issue further down the line.

I have no personal experience with them but the complaint I do always hear is over priced membership and overpriced flower that's available elsewhere.

Ive never tried a Glass Pharms product so I can't be of to much assistance here but welcome once again!

Welcome nick.
The sudz and peanut butter souffle are good day time strains I think
The pave and the pink d1 have been excellent evening strains for me.
There are loads of other good strains as well. Everybody has there own favourites

I must admit to having been a bit overwhelmed by how many clinics were out there and how their pricing differs massively. I tried to sift through it all and became unsure what was best so just decided to give one a go. Releaf gave a discount for my initial consultation as a veteran and that was one of the deciders at the time. Certainly not against giving someone else a go to test the waters a bit further down the line. I'm happy with the quality of product that they have been sending me so far. Good sized well trimmed nuggets with little to no stalk in each container. And the choice has opened up some more since my second appointment or my first follow up since initial consultation.. They have added some selections from 4C Labs to choose from, that I may give a go. But there is no denying, their pantry is way smaller than most, maybe to remain relevant as time moves on and more people become prescribed patients they will expand their dispensaries/choices.

Cheers for those recommendations, will look them up. I came across online chat about Straight A's Haze as a pretty awesome strain to help with ADHD brain fraggging! Couldn't find anything on here about it as an available strain through MC.

I hear you.

This community is very anti-releaf so I hope the negativity towards them doesn't scare you off.

The way I see it is you're aware of how they're viewed and if you're happy then you're happy. I'd always encourage you to go elsewhere but you didn't come here asking for clinic recs you came here asking about flower recommendations.

I'm going to see what products are options for you and hopefully they'll be something in there I've had experience with.

Welcome to the community once again, I hope we see you around here often.

Btw I think all if not most clinics offer veterans discount and can I also say I appreciate your service to this country.

I can only recall ever seeing them in review videos. I am curious about them given they're all British
That's why I wanted to try them being UK grown. Got to be within budget too, I'll be ordering my prescription next week sometime, it depends what else is available too but I'll hopefully get there at some point in the very near future just to try one of the products.

What are the red flags for you with them Mr Double D, be good to be forewarned of any hiccups that may be in the pipeline. Appreciate your input.
You might be ok mate, just a few others that have had poor care due to prescription issues. Plus they charge too much. I'm quite happy where I am and there are probably lots that haven't had issues with releaf so I'm probably being unfair as I've not had any experience with them but had the same issues elsewhere that people have had, before I jumped ship. So take my comment back mate. It just reminded me of chaos again 😅😂

The only thing I would say definitely be wary with is the Can Card, it's not a real thing legally and it's used for illegal patients to try and show they're purposes are medical. it blurs the lines and in general is a bad thing for the industry. If you aren't already aware the only thing that proves your legality is original packaging, ID and a copy of the prescription itself.

Oh and stay away from that vape they sell. That really is their biggest scam

I hear you fella, when we have a bad experience it can completely cloud our perspective on an organisation, lord knows there are so many burnt out remains of bridges that I have left behind me with companies big and small that have given me reason to obliterate those bridges, and yet others will see things very differently. The magic of everyone being different I suppose. They do seem expensive when compared to others and no doubt I will be moving on at some point in the near future as it becomes more restrictive cost wise to maintain my prescription and sample other strains to find my best suited.
