Intros Newbie cartridge favourites?

Another newbie here, assessment with Intwgro this Thursday and trying to make a headatart in options available to me.

Prefer cartridges for ease of use but with a few options, any particular favourites, guess that's a subjective question based on wants and needs but any standout brands out there I should consider give the options?

Welcome MT , I'm with a different Clinic to yourself but someone here with them could help you more, great community. Do you actually recieve MC or is this your first consultation or follow up?

It's my first assessment having paid £95 already. I went via Big Narstie Medical. The MC process is new to me, but have used recreational previously so keen to hear what popular choices or route people tend to go for when getting perceptions or clinics for the best value.

Someone from here will help you more who are with Intergro. All I can say is "be honest" with your Consultant about your cannabis use, how much you usually use in a month or how much you think you may need during the month during your Assessment/Consultation. I think you'll have plenty of choices regarding flower/oils/vape carts or pastilles/gummies with Intergro. Good luck with you Assessment/Consultation

Welcome to the forum @MTee and you should get a nice selection with Integro I'd imagine and as for brands that people tend to praise as being pretty solid there are Peace naturals ,4C Labs , FAAFO and Green Karat but many brands have good and bad and you also have value to add in .

Sorry I missed the bit about Cartridges an I have the Upstate blueberry Cart but has been a bit problematic with blocking and I also have the Jack Herer cart from Curaleaf which is useful but would prefer different effects and taste personally.

These Carts below have just been released and have some promising sounding flavours but I've not seen a review yet but they are manufactured by IPS who will be your pharmacy as an Integro patient so hopefully they should be available to you from the get go . Good luck!

Did you get the 1ml cart by any chance? It's kind of a known thing that the 1ml's can clog and also as they are used for longer the wick can get burnt and start to make every hit like burnt popcorn, so it's kind of odd to me that they are doing them, given any cost saving is out the window if you can't smoke the last 1/3 or so of the cartridge.

That's my understanding, unless they are using chemical thinners etc in which case that's a whole other untested can of worms that I'm not touching.

Welcome aboard. IMHO don't get the 1ml carts unless you are confident that they will stay the course or they have detachable mouthpieces and you can re-dispense into 0.5ml oil carts like the TH2 CCell.

As for strains, start with things you know should work for you and take it from there. Some MC is harvested to mandated time lines so may not have the same effect you are used to due to what I would deem premature harvesting (this also is what inflates the THC content as amber=CBN not THC when it comes to trichomes).

If it makes you feel better I blew both my first two home made carts first hit. Turns out they operate in the 5w-10w range, I'm used to hitting up 2ml tanks that will take 75W upwards. So yeah so far I have had two nasty chemical tasting hits of blown ceramic core.......

I'm using the TH2's 0.5ml and they work out at around a fiver each delivered. I'll let you know how I get on at the right wattage when they land tomorrow

Advised to go for Super Lemon Haze cart from Vida

Also asked for something more punchy for evening use
Went for Jack Heaear cart from Curaleaf

Also advised to try Rosin cart from Clearleaf®

Perscriptiin hasn't come through as its to be discussed with a Multi Disciplinary Team
They say it could take up to 5 days to get the prescription.


Any experience of these strains?
Does it normally take this long?
Anything else I need to know or be mindful of?

Wish I could help you there, I'm not with them. When choosing your meds you could gave asked for something outside the box, so to speak. Every doc will look through your health records and Usually start you on lower doses of THC and gradually increase it as you go along if your prescription isn't working for you because it's too mild ect. You should be ok as long as your not new to cannabis medicine, if you've used BM then you should be ok, the docs have to make sure your not going to have a negative reaction to what's prescribed. You'll find with MC there are many different amounts of medicinal compounds in the strains, some will work better than others for each of us. These are the sort of things your doc will take into consideration for you

Hopefully your there now @MTee and a medical patient and lets hope the MDT is done soon as possible and you have your products to try to get used to them and between the three cart types you have selected it looks like you have a good balanced selection but I would probably use the rosin later in the day and start the day with the super lemon cart with the Jack Herer around the afternoon as a rough guide to how I would approach that selection but you may find a better routine with them .

The rosin cart is GMO Cookies so I would suggest this strain for later in the day
Jack Herer ,I have just finished one of these carts and found it useful in the afternoon but could use at any time of day if needed but it would not help me sleep .

Hopefully someone has tried the super lemon haze cart and can share their experience of it but I would suspect it to be a daytime use type cart but it also depends what effects you are seeking as I myself tend not to need anything to heavy early on and would suspect something like super lemon haze would be suitable for this

Welcome aboard MTee, the SLH is an old school Sativa leaning classic so very much a daytime usage strain. I would follow @GrownHealth advice and start the day with this, afternoon the jack and then cookies at night. Given the price of carts you may want to look into flower as well, if you have a press you can make your own carts for less money and this opens up your choices substantially with regards to strains.

That said the carts are relatively new so hopefully will be better selection and prices in the future

I just made up two 0.5ml wedding cake and two 0.5ml jokers candy for less than the cost of one 1ml medi cart. I'm guessing if you use cartridges you already know to avoid the 1ml ones as they tend to clog and taste icky after about 2/3's use (it's been a while since I touched a 1ml but grown had one recently and said is still an issue)
