Partner has been a lot NG time BM user I have never used never seen the point.
Pain levels for both of us are mad at the moment so I took the plunge and signed up to Alternaleaf.
Waiting for my first appointment 1st May. Any idea of what the timescale are.
Also any recommendations on products greatly appreciated.
Partner is going to need flower and probably high THC
I'm more open. Can anyone explain the oils and lozenges to me please

Sorry to hear your pain is high at the moment and MC is definitely worth a go as it helps many with pain issues .

Regards timescales ,after your consultation it could be as litlle as a few days but more likely a week to 10 days before you'll receive your meds as this time includes the bank holiday.

As for products if your partner explains their usage and the need for higher THC products as my wife did for similar reasons I'm sure they'll take this on board and from feedback Alternaleaf seem good like this but bare in mind a lot of 22%-26% can provide great relief and often better then the extreme THC products but also some really benefit from the High THC products too .
An examples of one my wife uses for pain and other symptoms is :

With the Oils and Lozenges the cost/value is poor compared to flower but if your not tolerant of cannabis yet as you will be new to cannabis it will be probably suggested you go slow and build up a tolerance which is a wise approach and I'm sure they would cater for this as this sounds a sensible and just discuss this on your appointment .

I'll leave a set of examples below and It could be worth your while reading a couple to see how it can help over time and you'll see it from a doctors perspective too.

Brilliant ,the fact you are both legal Medical Cannabis patients now is great news as you can address your symptoms and tailor your journey to suit and I've recently had Black cherry punch and really found it pretty effective so hopefully a good start for your partner whilst you have the advantage of their experience to help guide you as you try and address the same symptoms . Whilst costs of Meds can quickly add up with two patients in the house like myself you have the advantage of no tolerance so hopefully a little will help a lot in your case .
We don't usually see people getting refused with the MDT meeting so hopefully a formality and you'll have your first prescriptions before you know it

They can be very expensive especially if you pick wrong and need to get another but it also depends whether you need it for outside use or a desktop vape which I personally think offer better value .
