Intros The start of my journey

I'm not sure as I always thought they were a pain clinic and that is why I wouldn't qualify as I'm a mental health patient but maybe they have more specialists now covering other symptoms?
people assume that as Dr Simon Tordoff is a pain specialist consultant, who appears on the website front page, but all conditions are treated.

@Higgy96 get the CB1 Medical app on your phone before the initial consultation day, and have it logged in and open 5 mins before the consultation, the video call will happen in the app. No phone? use this address: https://cb1-patient.scriptassist.co.uk/login on a computer, no cameras for call? no worries ring them and let them know, they will then do a normal phone call consultation.

Welcome, I think @Dooby Doo gave the most relevant advice for now, about being honest with your clinic and during the consultation - they aren't trying to trip you up or get you in trouble

From there let us know if you have specific questions and there's a small crowd building here now who will do their best to help and answer

Good luck

Hi everyone I have taken the step today to finally sign up to a clinic (I have chosen CB1 Medical). I suffer with Anxiety, Autism and OCD among a few other issues I’m really hoping this is going to be the start to a new me. Even if it just helps reduce some symptoms/feelings slightly I would be happy. Im currently waiting to be given a consultation date so I will report back once I have completed the process. Any advice, tips or recommendations for my journey are appreciated.

Thank you
Higgy96
Just a little update I have my appointment booked for 30th of April I'm getting pretty nervous about it all but I'm trying to stay positive. I've looked at a few different strains I think may be helpful (Presuming I'm accepted into the clinic) Curaleaf High silver for day time and lavender cake for night time with potentially a cartridge for travel or when I have to go places. Also been looking at some balanced strains mainly cura leaf lunar circus and Therismos blue dream. I'm really not sure what to expect in regards to what they would recommend for me and my monthly allowance though.

I'll report back after my consultation.
Thank you for everyone who has replied and given me advice so far I really appreciate you all.

Hi mate!

The Lavender Cake is really wonderful for anxiety - you have two initial appointments, first a consultation and then the prescribing doctor, after which you'll receive your first prescription. Your third appointment is a catch-up to see how you're doing. At your fourth appointment, you get given your allowance. So, not to worry for a while. At least that's my understanding of it. I made a lil fun vidya about it

I'm with Alternaleaf and they're very receptive and listen to me when I want increases to my prescription, etc. I've gone from 15grams to 30grams to 70grams!

I have mine with Alternaleaf on the 29th bro. Good luck. I dont think ill look until the day before as my mind changes a lot. Montu dont have that much of a big selection but i intend try and split my order with different pharmacies as ive been told thats possible. I keep an eye on your progress with CB1 Medical as a little comparison to alternaleaf

You'll be fine during your Consultation and there shouldn't be any issues with regards to being Prescribed Cannabis unless your Medical records say differently. Just be yourself, it's not a test, explain your conditions and what helps you with your conditions. CB1 Medical are excellent and they will listen to you fully. You've picked 2 good strains that should help you, I would if you can add a boveda pack with the Lavender Cake as it is a little dry but works well, I've had both strains 👍, Oh, being nervous is a normal feeling before your Consultation, we've all been there 👍

I just watched your vid @Lozbunnz . You should post that on the Alternaleaf thread. If you havnt already. Made me laugh at the end there. Nothing beats comedy in information. I find you learn more lol
I woulda got bored if there wasn't some fun in there. I didn't realise there was an alternaleaf thread, do you have a link i could follow?

I'm actually having a problem with alternaleaf right now, I got my prescription done last wednesday and still haven't recieved it. Poor form becaues it looks like it was waited till after the bank holiday, just a lil miffed as i can't get through to them on the phone!

Mine was put in last Wednesday afternoon, phyisic reached pharmacy next day, paid for Friday and recieve my meds today. I am with a different clinic though, I have heard people on other sites saying they have issues with the time it takes to be processed. I think a few clinics are like this.

I have my consultaion on the 29th. So from point of registration and paying my £10 fee would be 11 days all together. As loz pointed out you have another with a pharmacist afterwards so i will update how long that would be when i fins out

Your first consultation can take over a week due to the clinic chasing up and checking your health records.

Dont talk to me about NHS records. These fuckers are hard work trying to change to smallest of details for me. Causing me so much agro lol. They put me off in 2018 to sign up to MC but i wont let them fuck me up this time lol

Dont ask me dude im still waiting on a consultaion lol. Ill have a quick look
It's alllll good. A bit frustrated though dude, I'm just calling them up to check on my script (done last wednesday) and am now interested in how long a ''3 minute wait time'' for a receptionist to pick up the phone, is in Alternaleaf-language.

Reminds me of standing on Wimbledon Common in the freezing cold getting reassuring drug-dealer texts that he's just around the bend. lol

Listen i sat twice for 30/40 mins on the phone, on the waiting list to my local GP to be hung up on right at the 1 que spot. Bastards. I was fuming. Im sure they hate me lol. Ill abit ive kicked off a few time wether it be my fault or theres id never know. I guess they have a record for that. But when your dealing with a mental patient you have to have some bollox surely. I always apologise in the end lol. But still trying to get anything done is a nightmare. I need everything smooth for my new clinic not a shit show

Yes, I won't lie, mate. I think we should get better service for the amount of money we spend. I can be a bit overly critical and aggro because of my condition, so I actively try to moderate that and be as reasonable as I can. I am underwhelmed by the person-to-person contact I've had & things like not being able to get through on the phone for a simple enquiry upset me. I am quite sure Alternaleaf could afford a 24/7 customer service staff available for patient queries and concerns at all times.

Outside of that the experience has been amazing, but I came to medical cannabis for continuity and reliability at this point I could have received double the cannabis I'm getting at the price & far quicker/ with less hassle on the BM. Until issues like this are dealth with the black market wins out for most people. Still 100% worth it to be legit and not have to worry, especially if cannabis is an absolute must for your medical condition, but yeah

Btw a ''3-minute wait'' in Alternaleaf language is an 1hr long wait on the phone... with no answer.
