is this is a new clinic or is it a clinic that been re-named ?

I ask as I notice that they allow access to all medications
They are established in the USA and Germany and are expanding into the UK (y)

I've actually had my eye on these for the same reasons(for my wife) @cornucopia as that freedom and ease to use outside pharmacies is becoming more apparent week by week in my eyes and on paper this seems a good choice but obviously it'll be nice to hear from a patient of their experience with NuggMD.

Well I don't know if its just me being a bit grumpy today but...... i booked and paid for a consultation before 9am this morning and got an automated email response, which said to reply to this email with any questions etc ?
I replied letting them know that i already have my SCR instead of them contacting my GP and asking if the swap to clinic was free as i had just paid.

Nothing all day, no reply no call, nothing. then i look to see if there is a telephone number for me to call them and there isn't which was one of my reasons for leaving Medicann.

i also emailed them on Friday afternoon with a question and haven't had reply to that either
 
just to update this, i did get a reply from someone (they didn't give their name) a few hours after i posted here, confirming that swap to clinic is indeed free (but no mention of when or how i will receive a refund) and to send my SCR via email.

I don't like the slow email response, lack of telephone number and anonymous email replies so have requested my appointment be cancelled.

This is the 3rd clinic i have contacted recently (auravia, airmed and nuggMD) and each one has been problematic in some way.

Maybe i should write my experience of auravia and airmed on their specific clinic entries ?? would that be of benefit or not ?

Sorry to hear you are having even more problems trying to find the right place and as regards putting your experience down on the way things have gone it's nothing to shy away from and hopefully acts as a kick up the backside to make sure they can improve the process for the next person as these clinics fine tune their operations✊

This sounds like most of my clinic experiences to date to be honest.

Outside of Medicann all of them have had to be chased, had slow replies, missed calls, etc.

Shame NuggMD are coming across a little shady, I was hoping they'd be something fresh for the industry.

Hi JA,

Will respond to each question below in bold.

- Do you support open pharmacy usage, meaning I can choose which pharmacy to use? No, we utilize Wellford pharmacy currently for prescriptions.

- Do you have a default pharmacy that prescriptions are sent to? Yes, Wellford

- Is prescribing handled as a single script per month, or can I place multiple orders within my monthly allowance? Orders can be placed during a month when a new prescription is issued.

- Do you operate on quarterly video consultations, and if so, is there a pathway to move to 6-monthly reviews over time or potentially no routine reviews? Yes, the initial cadence is monthly consultations, then quarterly. Consultations are required, as async work is not allowed under current legislative laws.

- I’d also like to understand your typical turnaround times, specifically how long it takes from a prescription request to being issued, and then from issue to pharmacy dispatch and delivery. Assuming the patient qualifies and is approved during the peer review process, the current turnaround time is 3-5 business days.

- What happens if a prescribed product is out of stock, and can substitutions be approved quickly without a full consultation? If a product is out of stock, we will alert the patient directly with available options. From there, a new prescription can be issued within 12-24hrs without a new consultation.

- Are there any additional fees for repeat prescriptions or splitting prescriptions across pharmacies? Every new prescription has a fee. We nly utilize one pharmacy at this time.

The times they're operating as well 👀 2PM GMT is 9AM EST.. 2-10 is the US 9-5 🧐
 
@joint_account the replies that i did get were between 5.30pm and 9pm, the Dr appt that i had difficulty cancelling was someone from welford.

They have a delete account/gdpr data removal on their website which I requested several days ago but at the moment my information has not been removed.

They're 100% using their U.S. counterparts for emails, which is fine just an observation. - Although does that mean you have a 24-hour window on issues being fixed due to the time differences?

Either way, Wellfords was the worst MC experience I've ever had. You've heard of being funneled into a pharmacy well I was told they would ONLY prescribe me Wellfords (Therismos) products. Everything with them was a massive fight. Unfortunately NuggMD are now at the very top of the fuck that list.

Luckily I never uploaded any details, hopefully they adhere to GDPR and get your details removed ASAP.
