I had a thought... There could be a forum sticky so post 1 by the admin being the sticky. And let us post below some tips. Example

Your script should have 10g extra than your consumption due to getting medication that does not work, Getting sent mouldy flower, other delays. If you need to order a replacwment my own experience is it took so long my next months script arrived and i never got my doctor approved catch up tub. Some flexibility is good practice.

Order early! Write down your prescription dates and when the 28/30 days expires. You can order the next day and store or have the pharmacy store your now reserved prescription in a cool dark place.

Pay by creditcard for extra customer protection the Section 75 chargeback legislation works in your favour as a last resort to recoup lost money.

Keep a text log of your appointments, Your Quarterlys and Yearlys and ask the clinic a month in advance for a good suitable next appointment time.

Any more folks?

Apologies @medbudlover999 I was thinking this through, it probably is best to have pinned sticky topics at the top of each forum section for these kind of tips.

That said, as part of the volunteer programme we want to polish up and continue building up our patient guides which covers a lot of this, and we also have notes on the top of the main clinic/pharmacy/medication comparison tables.

Overall, all this guidance and advice needs planning for better interlinking between it. Open to further comments and suggestions here.

Yep i was thinking of the newbies who will get caught out by a lot of this and the easier it is for them to see a general guide FAQ or tips the better. I got caught out by a lot of small things during my first year and now i have 0 issues like everyone should.

Agreed, I've also been thinking about needing to 'automate' acronyms with automatic underlining where you can hover/tap for an explanation.

For things like AVB, COA, MDT etc.

In general it would be good to integrate some native way to handle product linking too, ie. if you type a keyword like 'Runtz' a dropdown selection will automatically appear where you can link it to a product from the main database.

All this though won't happen very quickly, I've got to focus on quite a bit of development work for the main website at the moment.

Just wanted to tell you this bit is really sexy 🦇

We'll get it rolling and then after a think put it in the best place and sticky sound good?
Cool man. Maybe merge threads if its possible? New people! Welcome > Members Money Saving tips or some title like that as a discuss then yeah copy paste top tips, i fink?

Actually looking it's already in the thought process albeit a bit back and it may be best to do what's suggested in @Muiredach post above with patients advice on clinic tips in the clinics section on so on but I'm sure @Muiredach 'll read this and light a way forward for us . As from above there may be plans .
Leave it till tomorrow and we'll revisit(y)but it's needed in some form.

We can merge threads, and even reorder posts by changing dates if needed. There's also the ability to leave redirected posts, so for example it could go into the Introductions section, then have a permanent stickied redirect into the clinics section or similar.

In general I think it's best to have separate pinned posts on the top of individual forums, but for something like one overall 'master tips guides' we could even go so far as to have a dedicated home page link which isn't actually a forum - but a redirection to a specific post.
