if you're considering ordering this, I'd hold off for a bit.
my order arrived today, give me a couple of days to get my head around it, and post some pics and a review.
i suggest waiting for that before pulling the trigger, as shrapnel doesn't even begin to cover it!
but it may be a fantastic smoke once I've glued it all back together.

You've seen the photos of my sack of shrapnel! So my sack might not be indicative of what appears for you, however, this isn't listed as smalls or minis, and to be honest if you're building company rep, this isn't the way to do it!
This is the second carnation of BD I have tried on medical, the other being Grassroots ( Curaleaf), and I have the Upstate coming tomorrow.
BD is definitely a top ten strain for me personally, and I like to have it or something more towards the BB element always on my script.
The fact I have another BD on order having only gone through a couple of grams of the Phant tells the whole story to be honest.
Setting aside the micro buds, which honestly leaves me feeling I haven't been able to really try this product out properly, as no nug was big enough even to effectively be "cracked" open, and I'm sure a bag with bigger nugs will give a much better experience.
Until tomorrow I can only compare it to the Grassroots product which is in every way a superior offering.
The smoke in both vape and on paper is a little harsh, the later shows an uneven burn and leaves ash the whiter side of salt n' pepper.
No oil ring to speak of, but if you do manage to pull one of those tiny suckers apart there is evidence of resin stretch, so there is a bit of life left in it still and it might have had a decent cure.
terpenes are muted, cardboard that somebody left part of a blueberry fruit pastil ice lolly to melt on last summer.
If GR BD meets you as your nose moves towards the newly opened bag, your nose if fully into the Phant before you pick up the terpenes, and they don't garb you by the scruff of your neck or anything, they just kinda sit there.
If the GR BD has a moreish quality to it, this rendition has a slightly unmoresish quality to it, if at all possble!
There is some gas in there on the very back end, a red/black fruit pastil type thing going on too, but the harshness of the smoke adds a somehow burnt element to affairs (its beta irradiated btw).
The GR has a sherbetty element to the terpenes (not sure where from to be honest) that just isn't captured by Phant. But there is a slghtly meaty (for want of a better word) note hanging around the lower terpenes, which kinda reminds me of somewhere around where GMO starts, but there's no real dankness of GMO in this weed.
The same goes for the high, GR has you coming back for more, and leaves you with an actually very dreamy experience, and I'm afraid the Phant is nowhere near, and considering GR is at 18% and this is 23%, money aside already the GR is giving you much much more bang for your buck.
I started two days with the Phant hoping it would see me through to the evening but no joy, and I even found the Upstate Cindy 99 T22, which is actually quite nice after some serious boveda work, could easily cut through the high. (fwiw and imo the Upstate C99 is actually Green Crack or similar, they've relabelled for some reason, cause it sure as shit aint C99, one of the first properly documented line bred inbreeding project of effectively Herer genetics b/c'd to 99% via Princess. This ain't that!)
The GR BD is a very solid 18% where as Phant BD is a very wishy washy nothing very defined kinda midsy very average feeling for 23% feeling 16%, doesn't even feel particularly sativery in comparison to the GR at least. When you do take into account the money, it's not worth even half the £85 label imo, in fact I think £40-£45 would be reasonable, but not even that would take me away from the GR BD, which at £10 less (its currently £69) would probably have me smoking nothing else! As, I've said though, I'm looking forward to the slightly more reasonably priced Upstate offering tomorrow.
All this being said, the GR BD still only gets a 8/10 from me as it is a bit muted still, and it loses 2 marks moreover because I would hope MC would be able to produce a better version of this legendary strain at some point (soon, please!) but the Phant gets only a 5/10 I'm afraid.

I know a few people like Upstate bluedream and hope its good for you. I thought it was not good myself for the blueberry side of the cross.
There is another bluedream at stupid price from 4C Labs (£80+) Its organic but been irradiated unfortunately.

I think its interesting you saying this. I was sceptical of the C99 and still enjoyed it. I thought I tasted something old school a few times with it and your comments may well carry some truth. I went on a spergy herer rant already on the forum and made my peace with it so I wont start again!
