I had my 2nd video consultation on 20th August to discuss my 2nd prescription. I told the Dr. I had some recommendations from the forum and wanted to go with the Phant D1 Pink, and he was reluctant to prescribe at first, as he said it's a 50/50
Indica/
Sativa strain, so it may not be helpful for sleep, but he prescribed it anyway.
The process for my 2nd prescription was extremely quick. My first prescription order was placed on 22nd July and it was shipped on 28th July. For my 2nd prescription, it was placed on 20th August and shipped on 21st August
So I have had Phant D1 28/1 10g
THC 28 %
CBD <1 % for 1 week now and I've used it every night using my XMax OONT Pro Micro Vaporizer.
At first, I was concerned about choosing the Phant D1 after seeing the Smacksalad Productions
YouTube review but I have to say, the flower I recieved seems to be in great contrast to what they received.
The smell of my Phant D1 is quite strong, and I would call it "skunk" or "cheese" from my experience with cannabis. This is usually the type of smell I get from a flower I've had on the black market or purchased in the Netherlands, and it usually means it will be a good experience. To the eye, each bud in the bag looks to be good quality and quite fresh and more importantly, they are all very sparkly to the naked eye.
I've found it to vape very well, and I usually have it on the 4th heat setting, which seems to be the sweet spot for me. A balanced body and head high that has helped me get to sleep, which has been a relief, but I wouldn't say that this strain would be a 'couch lock' effect for me unless I unload and reload again then perhaps it could have that effect. However, I've used many strains from the BM or in the NL where one bowl would be enough to couch lock or put me to sleep for an instant snooze.
This flower is rated at 28%
THC, but what I received, I would say it is about at 20% to 22%
THC in terms of effect on me, and I judge this based on my visits to the Netherlands, where all the coffeeshops have the
THC and
CBD percentages on the menus. How accurate either of these is is another matter, or how important it is also, but for me, I've used this as a reliable guide for what I want to experience.
I do have a slight concern about the aroma of this strain as I live in a private house share, but I've not heard any complaints yet, so I hope it stays that way.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this strain compared to my first prescription. Would I order again? Yes, I would, although I'm eager to try other strains to see if they would be a better experience for my conditions. I have an allocation of 20g of flowers per month, so I will have more options to explore next time.
Hope this little review helps. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
