Clinics Puppy Needing a Good Home

Just starting a dedicated thread to help @GrownHealth find his permanent home at a new clinic.

He wants to leave Mamedica® but has been in a state of limbo for a couple of weeks now.

Where should he choose next, and why?

My heart was going then I thought you were going to show me a dog that needs rehousing and I really really don't have room .

Then again I'm recovering now ,really was frightened then and who couldn't smile at that.
I am that dog that needs rehousing and having come to terms that I cannot carry on with the service on offer at Mamedica ,started by the limited availability of cheaper suitable products during the summer but repeatedly this in hindsight was costing more than I could afford but all the while I could see cheaper suitable products available on other formularies and this would cheapen my script considerably and make it more manageable ,anyway I tried to obtain such products by going to an outside pharmacy IPS and basically I received very little communication and sat here for two weeks watching the stock disappear and it's only when I contacted IPS on the day my Prescription should be sent out to ask why nobody has contacted me for payment they told me they had ran out off stock .
I had more than a week of serious anxiety whilst this was going on .

Anyway I've decided for my own wellbeing I am moving clinic as I've already seen as a carer a service I'd prefer to the one on offer at my present clinic and enquired at CB1 Medical but was told I would not be able to access 3.5gram weights or Grow Access Project discounts and as there are now two on medical cannabis in our household I need these savings so I can get the correct amount and try smaller amounts to see if strains are suitable.

So I sent my Summary Care Record to a certain clinic who I'll refrain from naming as I'm still in the early stages but am most hopeful everything goes smoothly and I can access medicines that have been out of my reach so far and discounts that'll make some medicine's a lot more within reach on a regular basis add this to what I believe will be better service and this is fundamental to my personal wellbeing going forward and a less anxious life .

Having taken another look at the options I would still choose Alternaleaf Membership @ £15pm flat rate. Only other cost is your medication and delivery is even free. So from a financial perspective it still seems to be a good deal. Service from them has been good. I believe their pharmacy is in the same building which would account for the quick re-writes when needed.

Financially CB1 Medical is a no brainer, as free for a year if you move to it, then just 50 a year, that along with it’s fair pharmacy pricing and the ability to have the script for elsewhere makes it a no brainer, except in @GrownHealth case his wife is already with CB1 and the new weights appear to be a big part of the decision. I’m sure cb1 will also do these weights if they take off elsewhere, it would not make business sense not to. Anyway I hope you get what you require @GrownHealth

Thanks for your input and support @Moon it's appreciated and I do agree with what you are saying but there are too many imponderables involved and I'm not the sort of person who changes services often in general so I realise I have to get this right for me and to feel I've done the right thing for me and then I'll be happier inside knowing I've done the best thing .:)

My GP has finally sent after a fortnights holdup on the GP's end hopefully the right info needed on my SCR and we'll see where it leads next week :)
Getting excited as hopefully I'll get to try products that could be great for me that I haven't had access too ,also a better service all round 🤞

Yeah this job needs doing right bc access to all meds is the most requested requirement from us cashcows sorry patients. If you can afford it you know who to go to...

I can't afford not too in a way and I'm sure I can do this cheaper than what I'm already paying per month even though I currently don't pay clinic fees .
A new rule in my head as well is absolutely don't by a strain till you've seen a few reports or its available in smaller amounts ,this will stop some wasting of money.
Then if all else fails 🤷‍♂️🌱

I've just come off the phone to CB1 Medical, and I have to say the lady was very nice with a lot of information and I am seriously thinking of changing Clinics, I need to sleep on it.
That's good to see your at least looking over the fence at what is on offer and you have to come to your own decision what you feel is best for you as I have for me that's the main thing here .

I was totally thinking this yesterday as well .
These companies have Branding Marketing "Hype" and we are prob guilty of it ourselves talking between us but that's the nature of MedBud as we find out the new strains pretty early . Reputation through patient reviews and feed back is what I'll trust in future ,although using genetics as a guide is mega helpful but doesn't guarantee an acceptable product in the pot.

I will definitely look more in to reviews, for flavour, taste the effect it has on your medicinal needs, an of course not to waste money!!

@GrownHealth I reckon we could do a thread with these kind of tips to help people. Money is ridiculously tight for nearly every1 now. When a new person comes along you could link to it. What do u think mate? I'll help by providing comedy entertainment. Get a raffle going - you know. :ROFLMAO:

Sounds perfect dude .
You mean like a patients guide to surfing the Medical Cannabis money grabbing pitfalls .
A sort of what I've learned from experience , the do's and dont's

Bang. Yep we could do a shout out to members here, who must have tips to save. Also its about looking a bit at ourselves. I'm pretty weak at times when it comes to Dosing, but I HAVE to be disciplined this year. Prob like most on here. What little I learned so far, good meds below £85/10g is really hard to find so I'm going to concentrate on getting the strains I want but not caning it.
