Clinics Puppy Needing a Good Home

On Dosing: I use these lovely 10g daily dose jars from Ryot. Come in box which keeps the sun (lol) out. This is better for most peeps with hand problems.

Getting nervous now as the time approaches but excited at the same time ,I watched the grow conversations talk more times than I care to admit and sort of feel they'll be easy to talk to as that obviously comes across on the video.
So lets see what the next week brings and I better get my stuff organised pronto. :)

Just starting a dedicated thread to help @GrownHealth find his permanent home at a new clinic.

He wants to leave Mamedica® but has been in a state of limbo for a couple of weeks now.

Where should he choose next, and why?

EL puppy got a new home in the land of the 🐉
Like a Dipstick I didn't have a script prepared:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:🤷‍♂️
I Don't know where to start looking so many medications available to me that I never had access too 😁😁
An hour Consultation was thorough and although I was pretty damn nervous to begin with I was put at ease and was talked through things and became quite relaxed as the consultation went on and had explained to me a few things about Cannabis I'd never heard of so was enlightening too .
So glad to finally get to the clinic I personally wanted to be at because of their reputation and I'm looking forward with hope!

I take it that must be Cardiff then? Well done!

Whey! 🎉 Glad to hear it, Cannabis Clinic Cardiff rescued my entire medical cannabis experience after constant monthly issues with my prior two clinics. I'm coming up on two years with them now, and could barely fault them.

You don't find a more thorough clinician than Dr. Dave, with my previous clinics I had no documentation of my care whatsoever. With CCC I get regularly updates to my treatment plan, explicit limits for each type of medication per month - and fast reliable processing for every prescription request.

On a personal level, I feel the clinic actually cares about my well-being too.

I ended up at CCC after recommendations from a patient in the industry that used to work for PLEA. The cost is higher than many other clinics, but that's purely down to the fact they're entirely independent and don't earn from medications prescribed (cough, illegal profit-sharing deals do exist otherwise).

I feel the clinic's neutrality and honest policies/processes make it a shining beacon in the dark. Proud to be a patient there.

Keep us all posted on how you get on moving forward 🙌

@Moon Thanks mate,
Yes had my appointment and it was a bit of a crazy day for me all round but now I'm already looking forward and sort of a relaxation is setting in me and to be quite fair sometimes stuff like what happened over Christmas with my script can have a deep negative effect on me but glad I got through it and sort of done what I can to improve my experience ,pretty much much what similar to yourself in that regards ,not quite the same but you now what I mean we both tried to make our experience more satisfactory I suppose .
I'll tell you what If I hadn't been busy and kept in conversations and my mind distracted as we were by being here I could easily turned bitter about my experience but I'm just going to move on with hope.

Absolutely ,after an half hour I was @GrownHealth /myself as you's know me and he could see my agitation in the beginning as I had not properly medicated through the day so my vape was loaded anyway and he said to medicate so I did and relaxed a bit went into conversation then .
As you say we then went over the different types of medications available and the benefits of them and discussed limits and I have the scope I need to properly treat my condition as I'm not a prolific user just a constant need and discussed the pro's and cons of vape carts etc

On a personal level, I feel the clinic actually cares about my well-being too.

They come across as caring just by watching media of their Clinic but after having a meeting with him it absolutely is there to see that he cares and is passionate about what he does ,i mean he had to put up with me agitated after he's had a long days work and still had the patience and experience to intervene and put me at ease and by the end of it he'd familiarised himself with my other family members and my sons incredible eating habits :ROFLMAO:

P.S. He was talking to me about sickness and being sick and I don't think he realised that my dog sat next to the chair had dropped one as I was waving my arms about because of the smell , He probably thought I was Crackers :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You have shown the patience of a saint as the saying goes, my anxiety would have been high through Christmas awaiting. So glad you have got what you wanted and look forward to learning more about Cardiff over time with you. I think one of the main criteria for many of us is stability in the MC environment, I think you can now look forward to that, you have chosen wisely. Made up for you :)

Just been looking back at this transfer of clinics and once they received my completed SCR after toing and froing with my doctors for info they got in touch with me on Tuesday dinnertime saying they had reviewed my records they confirmed my eligibility for an initial consultation and could I fill out and return certain documents and payment
I did this on Tuesday afternoon and returned it.
They contacted me again on Wednesday morning and informed me I could have an appointment later that day at 5:30 and the gave me assistance in uploading a document I was struggling with .
So in hindsight no wonder my head was spinning a bit :ROFLMAO:
Just went through the chain of events on my emails and didn't even realise how quick things actually happened once the proof of eligibility was obtained .

To be quite honest it was heart warming reading through them as they were from various members off staff but all had the strong sentiment of they are here to support us or me in this case and sometimes to see that can mean the world👏

First script issued now and this feels good as there communication and explanation of the process ahead and confirmation of stock has left me feeling really reassured (y)

Even got tracking on my prescriptions going to the pharmacies 😌 and my script is arriving at the pharmacy today:)
Which in hindsight is where all unknowns were last time I had a problem as I didn't even know if my clinic had sent my prescription out to the pharmacy for over a week and was sat waiting for the next step which never appeared .

Transfer complete 👏and received my discharge letter today and it's onwards and upwards for the new year and to tailor my medicines to my needs with the access to all CBPM's prescribed in the UK and varying weights also a team who are quite happy to deliver this tailored service to you with a smile on there faces and understand the many frustrations patients have faced .
So finally it's a blast of relief to me to complete this as I feel you have to get the fundamentals right and rest falls into place 🤷‍♂️ or is that to simplistic :ROFLMAO:

We have to get it right or you'll be in the 99% of er, restrictive practices. Well done seeing it thru - you of all people deserve the good stuff. 💚

How long would it take to recoup the 1 st year outlay by joining cardiff so its just under £650 , Thats alot of money for ppl on benefits like myself n i dont think i could recover from that outlay, Looking at it from a money issue rather than anything else thats 65 outside scripts n 40 the next year at £10 each admin fee from Mamedica®, Is gap really that good whats the % of discount that it gives you , Or is this a thing of being listened too n more efficient than mamedica . Im worried now 🤣 🤣 im a total noob in this game.

There's a lot of nuance to it , In the last year there's been a lot of times when choice has been reduced through Mamedica not stocking certain products for months on end while they were available elsewhere so say a suitable product was obtainable at say £60/10g I couldn't get it and often paid £80 for an alternative so using that one example it's easy to save money for me on a monthly basis and each Grow Access Project product I choose saves another tenner so in effect I reckon I can get this for roughly the same price over the year. Also service is a massive part but not the only consideration here but a big contributing factor.

I'm an unpaid carer dude for my wife so money and balancing the books are always at the forefront of my mind and I'm pretty astute with these things and you'll see what I mean over my next few scripts , another thing is not all clinics will prescribe short dated and often discounted goods like the ones at £3.50/g this week and my clinic will so as I say the savings are there to be had as these products have a use for me early in the day.

I suppose once past the joining fee it's easy to balance the books after that I feel compared to a restricted formulary as most services offer also I was on the Mamedica access scheme as a treat to myself for my 50th but am glad I've made this move but as little as a couple of months ago I was settled there although finding it more and more expensive to get suitable meds . If it's not broke for you don't fix it mate ,I had 17 months there and this is more about me and my personal circumstance and a cock up over crimbo and I could see a better way to keep my symptoms in check (y)

Do your calculations - If you can afford Cannabis Clinic Cardiff go for it. If not free to transfer to CB1 Medical and see how you get on. Def change if you can and feel up to it. (y)

So you prob think you could nail it within the year maybe then , I get what your saying especially not having cheaper near to expiry meds like lemon jane at £3.50 they did have it on at £5 but took it away as that went to £3.50 so understandable from that view. Adding in having to pay £80 instead of £60 would add up quite fast , So even if you got the £60 you would pay £10 extra going outside pharmacy so prob easier just taking the £80 option i get it mate , Even taking the cheaper option tubs adds up over the year so yes i understand

From now on I pay £33/month so 1 product Grow Access Project maybe a discounted pot here and one where you can find a good cheaper alternative and all of a sudden your better off and your cheaper alternative may be a superior product .
My Script at Mamedica® had crept up to around the £400/month mark and I reckon I can save between 30-100/month easy with choice and get a better service and better suited meds instead of compromise also if a med goes out of stock with one place I can order it from another pharmacy no problem adding to consistency of availability.
