Ok, so at my first consultation the doctor prescribed me some CBD+THC oils and 10mg of flower to try. The oils are definitely having a good effect for anxiety. But neuropathic pain hasn't been helped by it.

The flower he prescribed is ECS Maluti THC 1% CBD 16%. It doesn't seem to have any effect on me far at I can tell.

I know the doc started me on low THC because I have no tolerance, no previous BM use. Anyone think he'll let me get more flower next time and try something with higher THC? How does it work with Integro? Do you get a g limit or ask the Dr to prescribe it and then you can't change it?

They should let you up 10g if you have been ok with no side effects.
Just try a flower a little bit higher or just have more of yours if you like the flavour

Reasonably, it's down to their discretion ultimately but it sounds like they're just trying to start 'low and slow' to get a feel for how you respond to MC as a patient. That's generally considered best practice.

Typically your specialist will want to follow back up again next month, where they may now be comfortable with trying some lower THC flower - perhaps balanced with CBD, or maybe somewhere around 15-20% for straight THC. In general it can take a few months of back and forth to figure out what your best long-term treatment plan is.

I haven't been at Integro myself in over a year, but previously I had a limit of around 80g a month and largely could suggest/choose flower with a nurse appointment under shared care (£40). When I was a patient there you must have previously tried a medication to get it on a £10 repeat prescription for the month, but I honestly don't know if that's still the case.

Thank you, wasn't aware of the shared care option. Will persevere with what I've got and just be honest with the doc, I'll suggest what you said as well about trying a balanced flower or lowish %. All I'm looking for is for this pain to go. Whatever works is fine with me 😁
