I have been doing this only for a few months, but in my experience, about 25% of my bud was actually "so dry", usually the Canadian and South African stuff. And even then, 2-3 days of boveda made it alright. I never had anything overly dry from Jersey or Portugal, and sometimes Canadian is fine too.
The Green Carat Supreme Diesel (Canada) is a good example for extremely dry, it's styro-like, but still grinds very well and has strong taste.
