Starting off the day on some Sour Diesel and it's had me thinking about my medication quite a lot.

At the moment, I think like most Medicann patients I've been basing my orders on discounts and it's skewed everything a bit for me.

The vast majority of the stuff available, and therefore the vast majority of discounts all tend to be 26%+ THC so it means a lot of the more gentle flower gets missed.

I'm all for stronger flower but there's a time and a place for it. Like I shouldn't be starting my day on 34% Sour Diesel or 27% Emergen-C, 28% Alaskan Thunder, 27% Pineapple Express, etc.

6 months ago my morning flowers were at max 23%.

It puts me in a situation where I'm absolutely brain fogged and out of it for half the day.

I've been looking around for weaker flower this past week but outside of Hazes there's very little available to kickstart the day with.

I've ordered some BNM RS for tomorrow on the recommendation of @Scriptoh. Fingers crossed that solves my woes for a little while.

What happened to all that 18%-22% 4C Labs flower.

Soon as you mentioned 4C Labs I had instant thoughts of Unknown Vial, Alien Koffee, Sudz, Jokerz, Galactic Cake! All sub 20% and perfect as you say for a more gentle wake up to the day for the old noggin

Yep, sounds exactly like my ordeal mate. And then I'm trying to figure out why I'm feeling so shot as if it's not bloody obvious haha.

I have considered getting some high silver, that did work well enough and it's not overly hazey in effects is it. I may go back to that one. you think you'll grab it? I've heard nothing of recent batches.

Im glad I'm not the only one! Always a learning curve on MC!

I agree, some mornings I need some head clarity, I request heavy THC products as I need those for sleep, I changed my system to not have too many weaker ones as well, I either use a smaller dose of the high THC, always by eye, or mix some quality CBD flos to balance it out. Seems to work for me.

This morning it could be Apples & Bananas again, a clear cerebral effect moving to relaxation. Reduces pain etc.

CBD flower could be a shout actually! Especially if I can't find any decent lower THC stuff!

I'm going to try the Ghost Wreck Haze today with it hopefully doing the job of High Silver but I'm also all ears on the Phant Ghost Train Haze that @Lank72 has picked up as that may do the same but with a bit about it too but I absolutely need to stay light until early/mid afternoon or everything seems a drag .

Strangely the Blod French Macaron worked in the right way where as others found it a bit relaxing and it ran out weeks ago for me.

It was indeed mate, I genuinely think I spent majority of the summer bouncing between 4C Labs Lab products, I like you have been caught in that cycle of discounted products aiming to save £££ without really planning things out as to where they're going to fit into my routine.. Sometimes it feels like the equivalent of taking a sleeping tablet first thing in a morning, come 10/11AM I'm physically slowing down, mental clarity becomes all out of sync, silly little mistakes start creeping in etc.

100% going to start getting my ratio of morning, noon & night flowers as a top priority instead of it being solely on discounted products.

I seem to be ok with the higher THC strains, the likes of the Alaskan Thunder was ideal for me daytime, we are all different though with different issues and I for one have a high tolerance to quite a lot of stuff even my NHS meds.
I must admit some of the lower THC strains have blown me away, not that I look to be blown away, far from it.
I don't have many responsibilities either and spend most of the time sort dealing with my health issues so that's probably why the higher THC strains are ok for me to take.

The MV Mac-1 is thoroughly damn good for me. Fresh as a daisy, bouncy chunky smelly soft strong yet gentle relaxing melt wasted muscles and is also good. I ordered another just now.

I may get to do a review in it's thread, but I need time savouring this and reading something for a while.

I must admit some of the lower THC strains have blown me away, not that I look to be blown away, far from it.
I don't have many responsibilities either and spend most of the time sort dealing with my health issues so that's probably why the higher THC strains are ok for me to take.

That's it with me I'm on guard all day at home and often see it as I don't wake up with the need for meds where as people dealing with other issues wake up with the need for meds to function and I totally appreciate that as we have both sides of it in our house and I can get away with a bit but persistantly getting it wrong takes it toll on me and starts knocking my sleep out and that's where the problems begin with me.

Yes I started on discounts the same, although not with medicann, and realised you end up with the tail wagging the dog. I only worry about discounts now if it's meds I wanted anyway.

Moreso what I'm doing now is trying to find the gems amongst the £4 - £7 range which suits my needs best.

Adding balanced flowers worked wonders for me on the overly fogged in the daytime

It is incredible how much time it takes to manage complex health issues, most people don't see or understand that.

This new cycle/frenzy of discounts is sure good for the pharmacies, who otherwise are supposed to destroy and make a loss on the pack if it expires

Is it good for the patient? Another symptom of this capitalist setup where we don't all just get to have what works for us rather we get what we can afford
