This new cycle/frenzy of discounts is sure good for the pharmacies, who otherwise are supposed to destroy and make a loss on the pack.

Is it good for the patient? Another symptom of this capitalist setup where we don't all just get to have what works for us rather than what we can afford

100% I am fortunate as I can afford expensive products if I need, but it wasn't always like that so I understand. I often ponder on the alternatives to the current system, and quickly delete the thought that the NHS could do it ok!

Local -ish walk in pharmacies run by patient groups, all GPs can prescribe if they wish to train and learn. That's where I am at the moment.

My top thought is, if you are young & working pay into an extra pension scheme asap. It helps when the day comes, trouble is we are going to be taxed more on it this year. 8(

Yes I started on discounts the same, although not with Medicann, and realised you end up with the tail wagging the dog. I only worry about discounts now if it's meds I wanted anyway.

Moreso what I'm doing now is trying to find the gems amongst the £4 - £7 range which suits my needs best.

Adding balanced flowers worked wonders for me on the overly fogged in the daytime 👍
I was in the same position as you for many years having to be on guard looking after someone else who was quite poorly, God bless 🙌 🙏.
I was growing daytime strains and buying top shelf solids for evenings to chill down. That was my routine then until she passed and found it had taken its toll on me physically, I didn't get a break after my surgery even as I had that responsibility, it was probably survival mode and when it stopped I crashed 😅 🙃 head on into a 🧱 . Can't believe how much medications I had to take then either, more than 2 thirds to what I take now. I was an unpaid carer too 😅, fucked me up physically and mentally 😪 but cant believe how far i've come from that even though my physical health isn't going to get better, mentally I've definitely come a long way forward 🔥

Just running a trial on Ghost Wreck Haze and it's my first of the day so fingers crossed and I'll get some pics up and my thoughts in the relevant thread in a bit and the Boveda packs that turned up were larger than normal 🙌

The ones I call bin lids

Bloody needed for some of this crusty bud though 🤣

I wish they sold 16ths

*Apologies, realise that over half the medical community don't know what I'm talking about. 1.7 grams is approx. 16th in weight.

Wouldn't mind trying out some low THC bud along as it was flavoursome

Starting off the day on some Sour Diesel and it's had me thinking about my medication quite a lot.

At the moment, I think like most Medicann patients I've been basing my orders on discounts and it's skewed everything a bit for me.

The vast majority of the stuff available, and therefore the vast majority of discounts all tend to be 26%+ THC so it means a lot of the more gentle flower gets missed.

I'm all for stronger flower but there's a time and a place for it. Like I shouldn't be starting my day on 34% Sour Diesel or 27% Emergen-C, 28% Alaskan Thunder, 27% Pineapple Express, etc.

6 months ago my morning flowers were at max 23%.

It puts me in a situation where I'm absolutely brain fogged and out of it for half the day.

I've been looking around for weaker flower this past week but outside of Hazes there's very little available to kickstart the day with.

I've ordered some BNM RS for tomorrow on the recommendation of @Scriptoh. Fingers crossed that solves my woes for a little while.

What happened to all that 18%-22% 4C Labs flower.
I agree. 19-22 is enough for the day

ur love this if u like 2 ply ur mango's in da mornin'

Very strong wind and heavy rain here, no snow in S. Devon, many ships sheltered in the bay here overnight as gale force 10-11 forecast. That's rough, I was in a GF 11 in the Bay of Biscay in the early 70's, a free ticket to all the fairground rides you could want, no stabilisers, waves crashing over the deck, wonderful salty stuff.

Many trees down, I hope @StationeryWilbury you came through that OK, saw the reports from the CI this morning.

I have MV MAC-1 awaiting delivery this morn, not sure I can hold out until that arrives, may have to Apples & Bananas as have a dead leg after a bad sleep again. When it wakes up all the nerves fire off, cannabis reduces that pain to bearable = free copy for journos reading this public forum. ;)
Hope your morning went well. I am moving around slowly. I made an avalanche of things cascading down by moving 1 bag in the kitchen. I had zero idea it was the glue that pinned everything to the right of it together.

I got the first half of my order and I couldn't be happier! I am trying to budget so I have 3 tubs of the Peace Naturals® Cookies T30! I love it so so much.

I am currently doing Aurora® HoneyDew cartridge. This is my first Sativa in about 2 months. I am waiting for the delayed effects to kick in. Initial affects were soothing and the pain relief was actually quite quick. I am now feeling a bit brighter after first noticing my eyes felt clearer. A bit like you feel after having a couple of sips of tea or coffee in the morning. Like a little internal on switch is activated.

After yesterday's walk and navigating that super steep a crazy sharp turned corner walking, today I woke feeling incredibly unmotivated, uninspired, meh and just existing. I actually have a faint grin on my face now. Thank you MC!

In conclusion, the Aurora® HoneyDew cartridge is an epic win for me. Super quick pain relief and an epic mood enhancer.

I feel a little more awake and alive and am a million miles away from anything else.

Big thank you to @Lank72 for reassuring me that the HoneyDew would be good. I used the word safe.

I love you! You are a special person and you make the world a better place! Thank you for being here. I know life is hard sometimes. We are in this together.

What's the verdict?
Early days! But, straight off the bat and out the bag. Its good, I'm happy. It has an interesting chemical and strain profile and aesthetically pleasing bag appeal. Inhalation is pure and the effects are on point. I really like the made in Britain product route. Overall 7.5/10

Original Cultivar: Chem-Mog (Hybrid)
Parents: (Chemdawg (Hybrid) x Triangle Kush (Indica Hybrid)) x Jet Fuel Gelato (Hybrid)

Lets have another... 🇬🇧

This was £68 the other week on CB1 Medical and we considered it here ,probably regretting not trying it now😅
