YouTube Testing my new grinder prototype

Is he actually a MC patient youtuber who does real strain reviews anymore?

Because to be honest he just seems like a capitalist who is using this existing MC platform to sell stuff now and I'm not sure his content is relevant to this site / community anymore?

Latest vids seem to be just promoting his new business (pure capitalism), promoting products he's going to sell, and clickbaity rubbish such as him dying his body hair

Not sure how MedBud folks judge when a youtuber gets / keeps an automatic feed to the site?

Perhaps its worth reviewing all channels and offering a vote or something?
I much prefer content creators who actually bother, even if busy - to engage with fellow patients and comment here...
I find it incredible that most of them - who probably use the wiki daily - are too busy to join the community?

@GrownHealth any thoughts on this (including those of workload maybe?)
Honestly it doesn't bother me in the slightest and doesn't add to the workload at all as it stands ,obviously if it was illegal stuff it'd be different but I reckon a lot of patients like his stuff just not the vocal ones .

Does that mean MedBud doesn't require patients to upload videos covering UK medical cannabis related topics (genuine question as I'm not sure it's been written / clarified anywhere)?

Like you could be a MC patient who purely uploads vids about woodworking and those would be fine to stay being automatically uploaded here on MedBud because the person is a patient?

And how does it relate to those CBD spam posts which come up every day on here which get removed after being reported, is Drew not effectively doing the same thing via a different input to the site?

I have made my feelings clear months ago about Drew being on MedBud, he is not living in the UK, does not have MC, and now deals via a coffee shop in Amsterdam. He has no futher relevance here, his old MC reviews are now pointess and out of date, he's a supreme bread head and a bit of a dick. I have no idea why he is indulged here anymore. But that is upto the staff here to decide.

I have only seen Smokey make an effort here, non of the rest.

Only Medical Reviews make it on the main wiki and we have no control over what content they cover in general we just add the medical reviews to the site whereas this part (Patients on YouTube)is automated from the main medical youtubers from the recent past but hopefully cannabis community related content.

I literally get the vids/shorts of all Patient/youtubers and they cover All sorts of subjects 😅

Thing is in this case we have also 76 medical strain reviews from Drew but if a youtuber does a medical review we add them but only add their medical reviews even if there other content non related - but where content is related to canna enthusiasts like the Kief pressing vid the other day I'll through it in but if you look at that guy's channel it has medical reviews and other lol.

We also have to bare in mind that like TV was my aimed at my generation and before YouTube seems to appeal to all ages... Personally, except for free music I hate it. YouTube is one big advert, 99.9% of it is someone selling you a product/service/idea etc
Be much more interesting to have good quality shorts here, uploaded by members, we feel similar too and trust (y)

So....

If someone creates a YouTube account, as a UK MC patient, and does at least 1 medical canna review, they'll get an automated account set-up here and then all of their content uploaded to YouTube will also show up on MedBud's Community post stream (regardless of what the content is about)

Then, of those posts, the ones which are medical canna reviews get linked manually to the strain on the main MedBud Wiki

Basically once you've had the automated account set-up in the first place, you get to have your vids shown to people in the MedBud Community forum indefinitely from that point on, whether it's got anything to do with medical canna or not?

Is that all right?

No absolutely not .

Not an automated account for new ones and not all existing old ones just the sort of stalwarts that got us to this point that where pumping out reviews when this section was made 6-8 months ago ,no accounts have been added or deleted since it was made although some youtubers have said they don't intend making anymore .

Vids are added to the main part of the site from a dedicated account which tracks 70 odd youtubers as opposed to 15 in the forum section and has no connection to what scrapes in the patients on YouTube that is completely separate (although same content for youtubers in common).

Yeah probably, but I'm slow to criticise MedBud given what is being achieved with people's time

I just wanted to understand how it was working now. It sounds like some people were set-up in the system at one time, and they can continue to benefit from it because it's not really been reviewed / changed since (again due to where effort needs to go at the moment), but it's not an ongoing systemic issue which will continue to get worse over time

It's probably something worth looking at again once patient reviews are live because the dynamics of the site will change

Nice to finally understand the process! Regarding our green haired Amsterdam dealer, I guess it's upto us not to watch or look at his content on MedBud then if he bugs us like he bugs me, pity he keeps appearing in latest posts etc.

Part the problem in the last couple of weeks was that no youtubers were releasing vids because of probs with YouTube etc so the only thing flowing through this section was drew but things are picking up again regards reviewers so I we'll try and saturate this section with others again(y)
