USA THC levels in blood and urine are “unreliable” indicators of driving impairment

The issue with impairment is not just down to concentrations, it's down to experience, tolerance, saturation levels and frankly whether someone can use common sense. I've known people who had no right being behind the wheel while intoxicated after one hit and others that you couldn't tell had actually consumed anything. It really does come down to the individual and other things like how much experience they have of being intoxicated and their (mental) concentration levels while in that state. I also think age is a big factor. Younger drivers are much more heavily influenced by testosterone and more likely to exhibit risky behaviour, whether intoxicated or not. While many older people with more experience drive in a more relaxed manner.

I know people who never drink or drug drive and their licences should still be taken away, basically on the spot, forever. Always speeding, using the (usually big) car as a weapon. Their agressive "main character" personas that just can't be detached from their driving characteristics are a greater danger on any road than any slowed down, stoned driver...

I have seen one like that with Robin Williams ages ago.

But of course I still don't support driving under influence, just because Jeremy and Robin are trying to get me into the bad stuff lol

I don't drive under the influence but then my cars a bit quick. I also keep my tolerance low these days, so it would effect me more. I totally get how it would make you drive with more caution - drive slower and be more on the lookout for hazards.

Driving where I live is a nightmare, so many pot holes. Any one of them could destroy your car.
