What do you make of this?

I know a couple of people who have ordered and received the genuine product and said it was as it appears on the website.

I think this is the same loophole used in the US, but as far as I know in the UK you need a license to grow cannabis even CDB varieties, so...

General legislative position

3.Cannabis is a Class B controlled drug under Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (MDA 1971). Cannabis is defined in section 37(1) of the MDA 1971 and is, in essence, the plant or any part of the plant with limited exceptions (the exceptions are the mature stalk; fibre produced from the mature stalk; or the seed of any such plant). It is also listed in Schedule 1 to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 (“MDR 2001”) and designated under the Misuse of Drugs (Designation) (England, Wales and Scotland) Order 2015 (2015 Order). As such, it is unlawful to possess, supply, offer to supply, produce, import or export this drug except under a Home Office licence. It is also an offence to cultivate any plant of the genus Cannabis except under a Home Office licence.

THCA is the precursor to THC, it's what's on the trich heads, it's just a technicality as far as I understand

Meaning that all your flower comes with THCA on it, and when you vape it, it's converted to THC through the process of heat (decarboxylation if you want to look it up)

Selling you bud but trying to claim it's not illegal until you smoke / vape it.

Same with the whole Nevstract thing talked a out on here a while back, where this Nev guy was/is selling a weed format as a 'souvenir'

The difference with The THCa earlier in the year is this product is flower where as the stuff earlier in the year was an' isolated extract THCa 'and not the plant so did have legal status as isolated THCa was my understanding but soon as it's heated it's THC and illegal iirc.

I think you're right. I also think realistically none of the THCa was legal anyway as it so readily degrades with light, heat, oxygen - by the time any of us got our hands on it I think it would have tested positive for THC anyway.
