Hi everyone,

After about 3 months with Releaf, I’ve decided to start the sign-up process with Alternaleaf today—thought it might be time to see what else is out there.

I’ve found the flower from Releaf to be a bit of a lucky dip. Some of it’s been decent, but a fair bit has turned up extremely dry or just felt a bit low quality overall. Makes it hard to stay consistent when you don’t quite know what you’re going to get.

I’m also hoping Alternaleaf might open the door to some better quality growers, as so far it feels like I’ve mainly been rotating between Glass Farms and 4C Labs.

Another big one for me is delivery—next-day is a game changer. With Releaf, repeats were taking around 4–5 days, which doesn’t sound long until you’re waiting on it. Being a chef, I’m hardly ever home, and since I live alone there’s no one to grab it for me either.

Still working on training the cat and the turtle to answer the door… early days, but not looking promising

For anyone who’s switched or is with Alternaleaf:

• Have you noticed a difference in quality?
• Are there better growers available?
• Any recommendations I should check out?

Appreciate any advice—just trying to avoid playing flower roulette every month.

I started off with Releaf and lasted a month before I realised how much choice I was missing out on. I thought the doctors and care at Releaf were excellent but the pharmacy was extremely limited with something like 13 options for flower. The pricing structure stung as well. Paying a flat £8/g for all flower is very poor.
I moved to Alternaleaf and have been largely happy with the pricing and choice. The aftercare is a bit of an after thought and it's more of a corporate operation.
Knowing what I know now, I would probably have gone with Cardiff Cannabis Clinic. I believe the aftercare and Dr Dave are excellent and you can choose absolutely any pharmacy and access all the bargains and premium growers. They do charge £250 to join and £33 a month. I would have moved again but I have been relatively happy with Alternaleaf. They aren't great but they haven't irritated me enough to leave
There is still an element of flower roulette every month but it's good to have 200 options on the wheel rather than 13

I’m the same I can’t fault the team at releaf, they are great, and take time to actually listen to you needs and very helpful on the phone, like they don’t try get you off the line as quick as they can do top marks there

By comparison: at my 3 month review with Alternaleaf (that lasted about 5 minutes) I asked about supplementing with CBD and was told to speak to my GP
