Sounds crazy and I wonder if they've exploded it.
Not sure she was lucky she was at her folks so timed it well. Neighbours calling her saying the amount of police, ambulance + ulster they were prepping for the worst. Crackers times. Hows your day mate? I hope drama free

Chasing doctors up since 8 and she's just had her pain patch increased for a month and we've been making Rheumatology appointments as she needs a change in meds we feel as it's just not working as well as previously and often they have need changing so hopefully there is something better they can offer .

Exhausting navigating the NHS but keep going mate, persisting like we do on here ✊

Ace rugby tackle at the end lol

Just going back to my post of chasing doctors up and that all day ,credit where it's due because she did it all really all day long herself and it was exhausting listening lol

I'm laughing but you got a lot on, but taking iit n your stride. Theres a lovely neighbour here, tried to get her to try MC but shes gone with NHS first, so pills for her mood+menopause. Main thing is I guess she looked better + seemed brighter, but for sure would be better with MC without the nasties.

Once the disease is under control the need for pain meds can go down and they can be reduced and with the patch she has the nasty effects associated with pain meds are much less then other pain meds she used previously .

I reckon if she hadn't used canna over the years her pain meds would be much higher without doubt.

I think your right.

Honestly so fricking done with this country. When you have been asking the CAB to answer one question for over a month (well trying, they don't answer the phones (confirmed by them after a month of vagueness), they won't respond to emails, they won't accept that you can't get mobile reception on a farm so try to call you once, you answer, the call drops, that was their effort after taking 5 weeks to arrange the call). What would they do if I was deaf and mute? I have asked for a postal address even, I'm not beyond writing a letter ffs.

They have spent longer justifying their process and telling me how overworked and busy they are than it would take to just answer me 🤷‍♂️

Should it not also be an indicator that there are bigger problems if they are that bogged down and maybe be a sign that some higher level action is required rather than fire fighting?

I hate to sh!t on the CAB as they are mostly volunteers etc, but when you become a part of the problem you need to evaluate what you are doing and either change your ways so you are effective or call it a day.... We live in a digital era, I should not have to spend 5 weeks organising a call I have already advised will more than likely fail then watch as it fails and they have no back up plan.

Brass Monkeys here! Hope everyone is cosy + got meds in (y)

It's felt cold and murky here for a few days now and even had the heating on a few times and just looking it's forecast to be warmer after today 🤞

Well the sky is clearing here and it's warming up again 🙏 and it actually feels like the bank holiday weekend already and back in the garden for the first time in days 🪴

Civilisation will not last, freedom will not survive, peace will not be kept, unless a very large majority of mankind unite together to defend them and show themselves possessed of a constabulary power before which barbaric and atavistic forces will stand in awe.
