So I had to go to court today and had stuff to do afterwards so wasn't leaving the house without my medication... was running slightly late for court & couldn't get parked in a safe spot I had to settle for a spot where I could potentially be towed so I took the risk and decided to take my meds in my bag into court just in case anything happened with my car... Got to the court doors about to go through security and I decided to approach one of the coppers standing supervising and basically just told him I have medical cannabis in my bag who should I declare it to etc? He called another couple of officers + security over and were quite happy to hold onto it and return it on my way out, bagged my meds + grinder & vape and gave me a wee ticket with few numbers on it which I then returned to them on my way out and got everything back without any issues... I ended up chatting with one of the coppers about it and he said he's seen a few of they tubs coming through now and seemed familiar with it so its good its becoming known, overall very happy with how it went wasn't expecting it to be as straight forward to be honest

No judgement but do you drive medicated. I could not imagine it . I would not make it out the housing estate
A lot of patients drive whilst medicated but the judgement call is whether you are impaired and by the sound of it you may feel it would impair your driving which is a fair call but certain profiles of strains leave me fully competent to drive and in fact some people will be able to drive because of the relief MC provides but with the legal limit just a trace in your system this basically means most of us are over the legal limit even if we have not consumed that day so this is where the are you impaired comes in .

Yes it's not the legal medication and more if an impairment exists. To be fair no one should impaired irregardless of the reason.

This is one of the things that scares me and generally paints a bad picture for cannabis users... people that claim they can't drive once they've medicated, it's giving cannabis a bad name as if we're a danger to people on the road once medicated similar to people drunk... cannabis does not impair my driving and never has and I do find it insulting to be honest to be judged for consuming it before I drive especially now that I'm legally allowed to do so...

I would definitely say finding the right balance of medication greatly improves focus which in turn makes me the best driver on the road haha 😛🤣

I dont claim to be lewis hamilton but I'm a very competent driver who's never been involved in any accidents so that speaks for itself really

Only people who normally make cannabis users look like a liability for driving is usually drinkers, I have heard it off the odd patient that's paranoid beyond belief to drive even though they're entitled to do so but yeah its normally the p!ss heads

Sorry this is a touchy subject for me as I've got a couple people around me with the same feelings towards cannabis users driving and they like to compare it to alcohol as often as they can so it winds me right up

Melted as in just had a bong/packet of edibles - obv don't drive for a bit if you feel impaired at that point (which you most likely will very soon)

Regular high - your fine as in depending on your own judgement (this is my happy place where I feel more comfortable driving)

Not high - Quite agitated, easily led into road rage situations

Just remembered I actually passed my driving test 1st time while on cannabis/right after a j of blue cheese so It can't be that bad?

Cannabis can affect your driving however if your an experienced user and know your limits you should be more than fine - I would not suggest it to new patients who are new to cannabis in general until they're tolerance is at a reasonable level

I couldn’t drive on co codamol tramadol df’s armatrypteline or pre gabs
I can on MC
I'm much better driving with medication in my system as my anxiety is nearly non existent where as without driving situations get me uptight especially city driving:(
