I would encourage everyone here to keep a copy saved on your phone and if possible have physical copies stored in your vehicle at all times. not every police officer would have seen this new guidance.

Took long enough for APCDLO to sort that out. There is already an older nationwide guidance doc with an easy to understand flow chart for officers. Often ignored.

I hope this bites deeper into the forces, there are so many docs, "must read" emails and the like flowing around big Gov orgs such as the Police, individual staff can be swamped and miss things.
