I actually had a serious conversation about how these work with the doc yesterday. I'm not really squeamish about stuff like this so I thought I'd ask about them, they're not on my radar but the explanation I was given tells me these are going to be a game changer for 100s of "traditional" patients and/or existing MC patients who have trouble with edibles and inhaling.
Suppositories have been in use since Egyptian times and likely before, Victorians took Opium and Cannabis with them and are still in use today for a wide range of medicines and conditions. For patients are unable to swallow for example they allow med delivery at home without injection or IV.
