Flower Upstate WO T23 White Out

Ahhh yes I see what you mean, I just read the full description on the pharmacy website and it reads: "there's only one thing we like more than money, and that's a marketing loophole" 😂😂

Yeah man definitely, it was pretty straight forward to be honest and I'm not expecting anything to come from it, but:

I found a little bit of rot towards the end of the batch (BCP was my nighttime strain so naturally it would be dark when loading my Odin up to grind). This was my first prescription. I contacted Alternaleaf and said I've found a little bit of rot and they got back to me a few days later saying oh no sorry to hear that, we've referred it to the quality department, then heard off Raj a couple of days after that, asking me to fill in a web form. Then I was emailed again another couple of days later with the following questions from the grower:

"How much have you consumed"
"Why did it take you so long to report it"

I said "hold your horses there Rajesh, I reported it to Alternaleaf initially and I'm happy to send you the evidence of this, it isn't my fault it took them ages to look at my email and forward it to the right department, seems like they're implying I'm taking the piss" (words to that effect).

He came back again a couple of days later to say it should take 8 weeks for the investigation to finish and that I'll hear the results of it when it's done. Might or might not be partially compensated.

Come to think of it, I emailed him last week and he did say the conclusion was due soon. I'll chase it up and will be able to update this reply when I know more.

It's a bit of a faff for a 22-25% THC cap

LMAO that sounds about right! It's the cannabis wild west yee haa 🤠

Good to hear the process was simple but not so impressed with the replies -
"Could you give us more information for our risk analysis? We're not sure yet whether we need to care or not"
"Can we somehow worm our way out of responsibility entirely?"

To be fair the problem is cannabis can theoretically go mouldy at any point, so if you report it after a few weeks or whatever it's an easy out for them as you can't prove it didn't go mouldy in your possession since opening. Not that reporting it in a timely fashion did anything to help my case. I am led to believe changes and improvements are being made in this area but time will tell.

Sadly I feel they will tell you everything is perfect on their end as it passed all the tests, and you probably stored it incorrectly, but I hope I am proved wrong.

Thats awesome, appreciate you sharing and I would love to hear the results of the investigation when you get word 🙏
