Clinic
Still Deciding
Hi, iv recently started MC. I use it for insomnia and surprisingly it works. Instinctively I ordered a heavy Indica (recommend from fb) im finding it hard vaping the full dose in one session (before bed)
Would the clinic allow me to purchase lighter strains to to have in the afternoon/evening to build up THC levels then something strong for the night too?

Welcome @DaveOG 👋

Don't consider the dose written on your dispensing label as the norm, in all cases we've seen it always says 'up to' 0.Xg - as in, don't push past that, but also don't see it as the target.

A phrase I often hear from clinicians is "go low and slow", new patients really often don't need a dose anywhere as high as a clinician states is the maximum, which (in my view) is there mostly as a safety limit.

Try vaping 1/4 or so of your current dose and see how you feel.

Annoyingly and frustratingly there's little flower available with low THC, and for <15% it basically always requires having CBD too.

The reason this tends to happen, is that for a facility, growing a cultivar with the potential for 30%+ THC costs about the same as something with a 15% potential. Facilities are naturally inclined to shoot for higher values, because it's what most other international markets want, and in their mind - you can just lower the dose if you want less of an effect.
