Flower What are your top anti depression / uplifting medications?

I apologize for unloading my personal circumstances here I feel I shouldn't have done that, I will refrain in future... felt on the verge of a meltdown lol 🥸

Big thanks to everyone who supported me yesterday love you all <3

Learned that edibles are not for me, I made 3 batches using about 20-30g of AVB and I think its mixing them with my usual consumption that's set me over the edge

Yeah man. I've been there bro. Best to keep active and not to sound cliche, but have a variety of things to do throughout your day. If permitted, try to not consume in the morning and see how your mood improves through out the day. Diaries help also, as it helps the bud brain remember what's actually boosting your moods rather than playing the guessing / remembering game 😂. Exercise helps, and a decent diet can do more wonders than bud.
I echo everything terpzman says. on top of this I would also say look at sleep . I know everyone has their own personal circumstances with sleep, especially if you use THC to help you get to sleep. I found THC was impacting me getting a proper decent night sleep, so will set a limit of not smoking 3/4 hours before.
If I notice gravitating towards dark place I firstly try and reset my sleep, then try and get the other things in place - diet/exercise/surroundings afterwards I notice how anxious and harsh on myself i've been.
Be kind to yourself.

Depression and anxiety are closely related and living inside head not good as we all can do , The biggest reason i think they are closely related is and imbalance in the gut microbiome, The second brain as they call it, That gut feeling is very connected to brain esp with nausea cramps and the shits can happen with anxiety/depression.

I used polish kefir from tesco before they all jumped on bandwagon with everyone making it , Its amazing for gut but its sour fermented milk so might not be to everyones taste but there is flavoured ones out there , Used to mix with some strawberry flavoured buttermilk from same polish brand. Kombucha can do the trick but i hate taste of it and feel kefir works better for me. Feces transplant works for this reason , If take feces from a non anxious non depressed person then it can make anxiety/depression go away with introduction of some beneficial bacteria that seems to be missing from people who suffer from anxiety/depression. Gut is the 1st thing and might be the only thing that needs sorted.

Cannabis is good but with terpinolene , Pinene, Limonene etc all stimulating terpenes what goes up must come down so best to use during day and wind down with Myrcene at night as need very sedating terpenes late night to shut of overthinking.

Try 1 to 1 ratios THC - CBD and dont be afraid to try in edible form, I am chilled with these Curaleaf 10 10 pastilles but edible wise i love butter 11 hydroxy blast

Ceiling high and diminished THC effects are easily sorted with a faah inhibitor which can be done with some CBD which increases anadamide that got diminished by THC usage and this upregulates CB1 Medical receptors that sorts a possible defficiency in endocannabinoids namely anandamide that causes anxiety so CBD is good for anxiety through faah which increases anandamide so for me as i have done i treat with good gut bacteria and faah inhibitors. Neuromodulation with terpenes is a superb thing for ceiling high etc but the gut is the key !!

I had a Myrcene heavy strain this weekend and it was horrible. Just an awful stoney feeling and not in a good way. It was cold creek kush. Ive been noticing the strains that usually work for me make me feel like shit (Kushes and Indica effects). And the Sativas that used to make me racy and anxious now make me feel good.

I will try the blue dream balanced this saturday or a terpinolene heavy strain. Also the Indica type highs feel so flat to me. It just feels like the same effect from the first inhale to 3 joints later. Previously I could go really deep with a strong Indica, like a meditative silence with an extreme body buzz and it could almost feel psychedelic. Now nothing. Just a lazy, stoned grogginess. Maybe my body chemistry has changed.

Myrcene euphoric in small amounts and can be a very sedating terp but to me thats real meds that stoney couchlock sleepy 1 dimensional almost knockout stuff, ( i really miss great white shark n rhino ), Thats the sleeping pill and winding down med for me needed after 7pm.

I used to love 60/40 Sativa dom Hybrids with enough sedation but just a little heady, Trainwreck was my strain for that with terpinolene Myrcene Caryophyllene profile.

The gazzurple and lucy in the sky nice terpinolene profiles with just enough sedation to relax to, Alot of ppl gravitate more to Sativa profiles as they get older , body chemistry does change with canna i feel

All I want to know is which strains keep you asleep. Last night was the best night sleep I've had in ages. 10pm - 6am. I absolutely cannot believe it. I did consume a lot of flower throughout the night though.

Craft Botanics Gelonade for me.. This is my choice of morning medication, as I find it gives me that coffee-esque "get up and go" without the negative consequence of increased anxiety.
I've found it has great anti depressant properties, but this is obviously subjective to each invididual and just my own experience ☮️
