Logically I know the cart to flower swap is massively bollocks, but I suppose without knowing what IS the normal thing by other clinicians or specialists, I don’t feel empowered whatsoever.Completely depends on clinic/specialist. Several THC carts are around 800mg per ml, a 24% flower is 2,400mg per 10g.
Six 0.5ml or three 1ml carts would be equivalent to 10g in the example above. Though this doesn't address any better absorption efficiency between the two formats.
Guess this was my overall point above, there is no consistency between clinics and even between specialists at the same clinic from what we've seen so far. We feel they should be following milligrams of cannabinoids, potentially with some multiplier for any efficiency/absorption differences between formats if they can be evidenced.but I suppose without knowing what IS the normal thing by other clinicians or specialists, I don’t feel empowered whatsoever.
The way my clinic Cannabis Clinic Cardiff handle this is with separate limits for each type of medication. When you start using more than one format, the limits for other categories are reviewed. I only have flower approved without additional consultation right now, if I added carts or oils - my flower allowance would likely reduce,I’d like the option to get oil occasionally for travelling long distances. I don’t want to commit to it all the time.
Awaiting a call back from them since 9:20ring them back and tell them you need some help
About 2/3s of those are all Montu servicesHonestly, ideally:
1. Portal to select prescription items, which (not exhaustive):
- Indicates stock levels (and delay estimates where an item is is not available to select)
- Allows full search & filtering of available / unavailable items by various key characterisitics
- Shows any prescription limits in terms of #ofg of flower, THC limit, etc, and a current running total based on orders completed in the relevant period (assume monthly cycle - e.g. '50g monthly limit, 30g used so far this month')
- Includes simple payment method & invoicing handled entirely through the portal
- Shows full prescription item history in pictures (like online shopping basket where you can see the items with a floating name next to each in order, and can sort/filter this list)
- Shows full transaction history (view of how the items were bundled in a given transaction, and what the cost was in total and for each item)
2. Next day delivery after order is processed for in-stock items (choose each time if you want to split delivery or wait) - the uncertaintly around the waiting is difficult for a lot of people, so aiming to minimise the delay between medicine selection / payment and delivery
3. Live chat option for those of us who have real difficulty / anxiety about using the phone to handle issues, queries, etc (accessibility)
I don’t think they could legally offer clearpay or such, but you could use something like Monzo flex to pay and give yourself a month to pay it back.Heres another: Split the prescription or somehow part pay like pay in 2. Not credit checked done on trust.
Haha me too. Just need a bit more flexibility - esp this time of year. Perhaps it could be done like Specials Pharma handle it, an informal pay later.I don’t think they could legally offer clearpay or such, but you could use something like Monzo flex to pay and give yourself a month to pay it back.
I am personally awful with money so I have a pot I allocate £600 a month to for my medical expenses which covers my MC and other stuff, I make sure I’m a month ahead there: that way I’m not getting into a mess.
I’ve been recycling them after I’ve used them up and doing the pouches in soft plastics at Tesco… but in an ideal world the packaging could be simple bioplastic bags.Had another idea.
Ideally I would want my product packaged in glass and shipped to me but I understand there is substantial cost involved both logistically and operationally but how about a return your own glass jar service or something. At least a return policy on used tubs would be good maybe they can be reused? Returning tub gets small credit on your next order?
Starting to build a stack of plastic tubs I have no use for.
Lol klarna my weed I'll be in debt to my eye socketsHeres another: Split the prescription or somehow part pay like pay in 2. Not credit checked done on trust.
Yea I have watched some docs recently that said most plastic you put in recycling doesn't actually get recycled and ends up in landfill anyway. Glass ideal, just anything but plastic.I’ve been recycling them after I’ve used them up and doing the pouches in soft plastics at Tesco… but in an ideal world the packaging could be simple bioplastic bags.
The tubs are so unnecessary and add so much cost for the manufacturer, not to mention the extra shipping costs
I'll probs turn mine into pots for succulents lol love a good arts and crafts project.Yea I have watched some docs recently that said most plastic you put in recycling doesn't actually get recycled and ends up in landfill anyway. Glass ideal, just anything but plastic.
Flash backs to the tuna tin crazeCans would work too much more recyclable. Just watched a doc about it on YT. Channel called CannaCribs
Dude it was fire I mean rife everywhere 20p Tin and a 10p sticker I still can't believe the price people will pay without knowing anything of the product. The hype beast mentality is wild the real wild west is long gone.View attachment 1344
A prolific dealer in my county used to buy the empty tins on Alibaba in bulk, then package local BM in supposed 'cali pack' tins![]()
