What's On Your Script This Month?

Hopefully i can convince my neurologist to go from 27% to 31% to try this cross.

ogkush x blueberry x sourdiesel X MAC x og kush

Being a pain here but would it be possible for MedBud to add the genetics to the parents underneath in brackets understandable if not but might be good for patients who can pick out which genetic is giving most relief for me its alien og types from mac 1/black jelly/alien koffee/ even khalifa mints very similar.

Og side black jelly and alien koffee and og/cookies side mac 1 and khalifa
I imagine it will be a fair bit of research but would be beneficial to some for sure and also we are behind on this as there are some missing genetics that need researching and filling out on the parents of cultivars at the moment bit it's a good idea in theory that could be done possibly when more time could be dedicated to it. Would be good for new or patients thats not got alot of knowledge on parents.

I will do all the research for what genetics are and just put them in strain post

OK trimmed down no more strains above £85 except Pave.

Only had Cosmic Cream and Black Jelly off that list here but wouldn't mind Wedding Cake and I have a feeling Pink Diesel may suit my wife but there's cheaper treasure to be had ,or so I keep telling myself 😅 and you gotta do what you know works for you .

I've been thinking similar things myself for a long-time - just don't want to clutter the UI much further with the spaces available right now. Also, there's a huge job of backdating all our information so far.

Eventually we need to add dedicated strain pages and ditch Leafly altogether - because it's too inaccurate overall. The plan is for cultivar/strain links to go to our own dedicated strain pages, which list the lineage back by as many generations as known - with various other details. It's actually quite complicated in terms of planning out the linkages between different cultivars in our database to plot everything automatically on lineage trees; but we'll get there eventually.

You also make a good point on grouping/linking different related cultivars under the same name. Maybe it's "Alien OG", maybe it's Haze off-shoots, South Asian landraces, or GSC derivatives. The problem there is we start to run into a lot of subjective/opinionated discussions about what belongs in which category. It's hard for us to authoritatively state overall. Should it be "Alien OG" grouping, or "Cookies" grouping because of GSC lineage, or "Chemdawg" grouping because of "Aliendawg"?

My instinct here is we need to do something more qualifiable instead, like listing earliest known landrace ancestors. We're completely open to suggestions here overall.

Uderstand with the clutter ui and with backdating as alot of input has been done so far.

Sounds good as own dedicated pages with alot more info would be great but i always usually check what the genetics are but never thought to check cosmic cream but since i seen it was alien genetics if i couldve seen that under the name it would be helpful but it takes 2 secs to google so me jus being lazy.

Showing Parents and maybe grandparents for recessive recombination traits depending on what dominance of strain patient has would be great but that would be on the patient to do homework and experience with cultivars to see what works for them and why.

I prefer seedfinder over leafly for info if cant get on forums or already know.

With the groupings it was just what is the genetics behind the name and digging deeper as i was saying with certain recessive traits being how many times is og kush in this cross and is it this that my body resonates with. Like Limonene being 26% primary terp in black jelly but no Limonene present even some people dodging the strain due to having high Limonene but its all Myrcene Humulene basically earthy og kush.

Just adding all the info in strain review/info page would be enough for people to see and up to them if info/opinion groupings would be beneficial to them.

Must admit I'm taking a little confidence from seeing a few more lower priced strains available again today so we can keeps costs lower thankfully .

So am I. I'm scrapping the pricey strains except the gold standard meds for me usually at £85 so 80g script will look 4xgold, 2xcuro 1xhorizon. Look alright?

That's the way to do it and when you know they are reliable it's no so bad paying the £85 but too often I felt let down in that price range but much less so with £50 -£65 products ,maybe because expectations are lower but I do feel it works all round better for me .
