Unfortunately green politics is now completely toxic after it spent the last 5 years demonstrably losing its basic grip on reality, and so now they just automatically discredit any worthwhile issues they try to advance by association. As much as I really want legal cannabis to become a reality, and as much as I am a typical classic liberal animal-loving vegetarian with concerns about the environment, it will be a long time before I feel able to put a cross anywhere near the word green on a ballot paper again.
