Where did the term "sleight of hand" come from?
It comes from French léger de main meaning “sleight of hand, artful trickery or deception”. Personally, we prefer Google's “sleight of hand” definition: “manual dexterity, typically in performing conjuring tricks”.

Sleight of hand, meaning skillful deception or manual dexterity, originates from the Old Norse word sloegr ("cunning" or "sly") and dates in English usage to roughly 1350–1400. It refers to the "quickness of hand" used for magic or tricks, with roots in ancient, 2,500-year-old Egyptian cups-and-balls performances, long before it became a popular entertainment form.

8) I spent thousands of hours doing that when younger, two best fish - mid 70s I had a 32.4lb Mirror at Horton Kirby floating bread, I nearly died with shock, late 80s a 24.6lb Common at a private Devon lake think it was a salmon boilie. Can't fish these days, grab one for me!

I think you found the winner with the greyscales. Octane100 who reviewed it said half the stuff he got was crap but the Gas cake was lovely.
