It's not nice for people to always be feeling the need for fresh plants of certain varieties to feel as normal as possible. These people should be allowed to grow personal amounts for themselves.

I have a thing about the age of our MC, it appears to me that a lot of UK MC flos is old and stale likely due to regulatory timelines and holdups. Can you give us any insight as to how this could be streamlined to improve quality and meet patient needs and expectations?

I'd be grateful if someone could paste my Q into the AMA thread as my insomnia means I keep very strange hours and am likely to miss the event

Diplomatically put ..Im old too ..and suspicious of these buds that are called Flos ? and that says " Cannabis BASED product for medicinal use" ?? WTF does that mean ? BASED ?? So is it 100% natural grown cannabis or not ?? By the Word 'BASED ' , legally it would suggest Not !!
Is this the Oldness or Weirdness of the bud we are talking about , this ' BASED' part?.Some seem like synthetic Terpenes that choke and make you wake up with a chemical hang over.
If cannabis is only Part of the Product we should want to know what else is in it !!?
I mean ffs its not a Depopulation shot like 2020☠

If its just the crystal on flower your on about, the crystal falls off the flower especially with the Industrial automatic trmmers, the heads get battered more than hand trimming, normally.

Yes Crystals from capitate trichomes, i only buy hand trimmed ..and I know all this . As i said im very long in the tooth at this and obviously not just the consumption.But I am very intrigued that you have a bunch of answers ready for when old timers like me start smelling a rat ✌

How enforced are the regulations with regards to data logging? Ie temperatures and humidity?

What body/agency takes responsibility for checking such logs? Or are companies self regulating in the sense that their word/logs are taken as truth?

Having worked in the food industry for over a decade, more specifically within food hygiene with yearly and quaterly interactions with the British Retail Consortium and various other leading supermarket auditors, there was plenty of occasions where paperwork was simply falsified to appear everything was above board, nothing nefarious but it certainly arouses my suspicions that such regulations in the medical cannabis industry aren't abided by.

Looking forward to the gradual build-up of this, hopefully it can gain a good audience and helps patients who have questions that at times simply can't be answered by anyone other than those who have been in the industry.

does every product on the UK market have to have a certificate of analysis?
i assume they have to be tested to attain the THC/CBD % but do they also have to be tested for terpenes for example and if so why isn't the terpene information released when the product is available ?
it blows my mind how a medicine can be sold but there is no information to help the patient understand what symptom it might help treat etc

Hmm ..some of these posts seem like 'freinds'of the Industry pushing for more and more regulation and control of what they want to be THEIR Monopoly ✌ Further pushing small batch producers out of the marketplace , as they do because they ate greedy greddy dishonest Globalists.

Thank you for raising a very important issue, either a legally enforced, independant checking agency,with powers over the industry and or use of forums such as this ,if people had somewhere to find accurate up to date information that would be very useful.

Hi,when trying to chose from the large options,for which I am grateful,I struggle to try to find reasonably fresh products.At point of purchase it would be helpful to have access to the expiry date.It appears,according to many of the very helpful and informative videos done by fellow users,thank you,that people open the sealed packets as soon as they arrive,doesnt this mean the deterioation of the product occurs faster.If we had access to the expiry date at point of purchase then market forces would lead to fresher products.

The terpenes are Crystals too and are a much smaller part of the Entirety of Crystals we are missing. But yes i get what your saying of course.
People have been convinced that none cannabis based Terpenes are ok to use on cannabis..no no no they are not .
Im hoping the So called industry is not adding them . The Terpenes should ONLY be the ones found naturally on that particular Cultivar phenotype . All else is fakery and detrimental to health 100%.
In the CBD weed world they throw those fake Terpenes around like no ones buisness ✌

I would hope with those "pesky" regulations that are in place stops any nefarious behaviour from cultivators or even the contemplation.. I understand your frustration what we seem to be provided with generally has something missing, nothing is ever quite 100% but I do feel we're in a good position with regards to the regulations and what that provides for patient health and safety.

As you mentioned the CBD scene is all rather shifty, I don't trust anything from any of the plethora of options out there
