Always good to play devils advocate it's one of my favourite pastimes but I think the only way that adds up is if they are only allowed to order X of each product per patient, not just X total products per patient. Otherwise it is just their buying/stocking preferences not aligning with patients.Insanely so! You'd think we'd have some better legal framework to deal with shit like this.
You were an AL patient before right? this should feel like Deja Vu!
In an effort to play devils advocate and provide a different spin. When I was at Alternaleaf, this time last summer they had awful stock issues which was kinda similar but not exact.
First thing to realise is that a pharmacy is legally not allowed to supply much more medication than it sells. So they can't have shit tons of stock laying around with no patients.
Back to AL, they had a HUGE patient influx that basically broke everything for months. it was a hell of a summer for budget conscious patients. It looked like they were buying in less of the cheaper stock to force the expensive stuff on patients but the reality was they were buying the same amount of cheap stock but because they had more patients it was getting purchased quicker and because they couldn't stock much more than they sold the shelves always looked bare with "no new requests".
There is a chance that the stock levels have never changed but theres just so many more people buying up the meds that it appears as if its always barren. The difference here is mainly that the stock doesn't appear to be getting added as quick as it was to begin with.
Oops, sorryOh well all the thin mint jealousy sold out already so say good bye to the bargains folks it was fun while it lasted
Evolving or mutating?
Yes. I think that’s correct. They are probably responding before a bad feeling takes hold and people vote with their feet. At least they have seen this and tried to reassure folk. Most corporate messaging feels empty but I’m pleased someone has tried to calm the cows.I for one feel that grass is often not greener, just a different shade.Evolving or mutating?
I just hate that the way media messaging works in this modern world (or maybe I am too cynical) This is a response to people feeling that they dont matter.
So thats why they put "YOU MATTER" in bold 3 times and repeat the phrase 5 times within this release.
The repetition exposes the objective.

Might just give the daily mail my login so they go to town on these fuckers and they'll disappear.Even the framing of this corporate cover up is awful.
You matter more now than ever? What changed? Why did you not matter as much before? Do you actually matter more now, or are they just scared people are about to start leaving en masse?
When these first arrived on the scene I was wary but stayed relatively quiet.
This is the limit, fuck Medicann.
'Profits matter more now than ever'. There, fixed it
I'd rather you didn't!Might just give the daily mail my login so they go to town on these fuckers and they'll disappear.
I agree with oldbloke, the system work really well, cant fault the service, love to be left alone to make my choices, just the model does not work for me, nothing wrong with the model. some people can and should have every right to get medication, the formulary seems has been created by bean countersI'd rather you didn't!Medi suit my use cas and needs, and likely those of many other experienced patients, very well, I can now get what I want, when I want day or night and if I like it I can get another, straight away, no fecking around with monthly repeats, "consultations" hah! I've forgotten more than most prescribers know about the plant, or admin staff who know very little other than what's on their script and flow chart.
It is a shame that their stock varies in type and volume a lot, but I knew that when I joined. In 5 months I have only had the "damn missed it feeling" twice, with Alterna - Montu I was fighting their system and IT cock ups every month continuously for 2.5 years, something that many know about
I don't seem to have a limit either, not that I have ever requested more than 60g in one month.
agree. the formulary needs opening up a bit more however. i moved from Integro to get access to certain brands. since then the choices are becoming more limited and patients need to make the clinic aware of prices changes.......thats a bit shit imoI'd rather you didn't!Medi suit my use cas and needs, and likely those of many other experienced patients, very well, I can now get what I want, when I want day or night and if I like it I can get another, straight away, no fecking around with monthly repeats, "consultations" hah! That’s 3, I agree with old bloke and Barry. Medicann fan boy hereit works well for me, I feel in control and have more choice than I ever did on BM. The grass is probably not greener, just a different set of problems.
