Flower PGR Bud?

Hi guys. This has been my first year on MC and am just wondering about something. A LOT of the flower ive had so far have given me instant nausea like my body is trying to reject it. Im an experienced cannabis user and have never had this problem with bm weed or hash before. Also this same year ive started MC I started getting styes and cysts around my left eye. Again this is a problem ive never had in my life before.

Did some googling and found some pages on pgr weed and side effects of those synthetic chemicals which include nausea/vomiting, skin/eye irritations etc.

I am super sensitive to chemicals in general. I cant use most cleaning products and lots of the shower gels because they give me allergic reactions.

I stopped usong the flower and switched to carts and my eye problems stopped completely. Only after reading about PGRs did I put 2 and 2 together.

Also looking at pictures of pgr buds a lot of the flower ive had looks like that. Haa anyone else had issues like this? I posted this on reddit but they just assumed im a dirty guy who doesnt wash his face which couldnt be further from the truth. Also that whole subreddit seems to be a giant advertisement for Aurora® flower which ive had problems with every strain ive had from them regarding this issue of nausea and eye irritations.

As regards your query my own instinct if this happens repeatedly with a certain brand is they your allergies or reactions may be triggered by the nutrient regime they use especially if this happens over a few products of that brand .
The main thing is that it has cleared up after switching to carts(pens) but I imagine you want to use flower again and after years of using flower without this issue .

Actually recalling in the past getting like allergic reactions years ago but with BM at the time and as for Aurora® I'm not a particular fan of there products personally and cant quite put my finger on why but I just don't tend to get on with them but a lot of patients do get great relief from them and maybe this was the reason for your experience on the subreddit?(not that I've ever been on a subreddit)

Whilst pgr has been brought up here recently I would hope these sorts of products would not get entertained in a testing lab never mind pass but to be frank I couldn't say it isn't with some of the practices that go on.

Thanks. Yes the nutrients used could be it. Defintely something not agreeing with me. Would the irradiation not help with possible harmful chemicals?

Id love to use flower but it feels like gambling with what im going to get. The carts are very consistent and effective for me.

Is there a provider that uses organic soils and nutrients? Or do we not know what is being used to grow? Maybe im just being picky but my body is weird like that. I cant eat foods with preservatives at all because they give me a bad reaction.

Different producers use different methods and I'm waiting for a living soil product to come back available but apparently its being rebranded so
The example below I'm hoping comes back as a 4C Labs product and the sooner the better for me .

I'm sure others will have certain things they avoid in a strain as it'll cause a negative reaction some patients avoid certain terpenes in high amounts also and another good thing is you can introduce them one at a time as you are currently using carts and this way You'll know for definite if which work and don't .

Is the any Medical flower yet that didn't cause this reaction and worked medically like the carts do?

I see your with Integro so will have the added bonus of the 5gram pack sizes on products that come packaged this way also 7 grams too so something to bear in mind to try and keep wastage/costs down to a minimum and you are a good example of why these weight sizes are needed and even lower sizes

4C Labs have products that are non irradiated and in 5gram pack and 7grams of the Beta Irradiated and maybe have look at them as a starting point as reviews have positive on quality too and I've ordered 5g to test myself.

This is a worrying conversation. We should not even have to consider this happening to MC but I fear there are unscrupulous producers, how much control is there on the quality and production of MC especially when imported from other countries.

One of my reasons for me going legal was the mainstream hash in the last few years is obviously made from high yield bud instead of the old landmark strains, and I was getting worried about what it was doing to my body and mind!

The conversation mentioned about PGR was the Aurora® Product L.A Confidential T24 – which has been one of the best strains I have found for me medically and stoner wise. However it was pointed out that a year ago this bud was completely different to what it is now, smaller and greener, now the buds are huge and fit the internet’s description of PGR. I have about 12 grams of it left and some of the buds weight in at nearly 3 grams each, see photo. Although I have had no ill effects, I now suspect this is PGR and this is annoying and worrying. These buds are unlike any other MC I have had (12 different strains) to look at.

Regarding irradiation: Depending upon your medical condition it may be advisable to get irritated, as in my initial interview the doctor pointed out if you have immune deficiency or are prone to chest / throat issues it is advisable to avoid Mold or bugs which the irradiation does for us.

Mechanically trimmed buds look this way too and could possibly explain all their buds looking standardised in a way and pretty devoid of leaf but I just don't get on with most of their products personally by coincidence ,apart from say Delahaze and when I've tried them it sometimes been hard to get through the pot .
Like I say many cherish these products and I imagine my wife wanting them in the future but not for me .

You'll find the craft producers tend to make a point of highlighting its hand trimmed too.

Thanks. For sure the Pure Sunfarms™ strains I had jet fuel gelato and pink kush were great for me and didnt give me that instant nausea feeling. Also big narsties strains dont give me that effect either but I feel they are more Hybrids. As I only use flower at night to help me sleep they give me a bit too much energy. Although I will say the moroccan peaches is the best quality flower ive had by far.

I really like the earthy kush based strains they seem to have the best effect for my sleep.

I didnt know I could get smaller amounts of the 4C Labs. Thats great to know as Im not the most well off and buying 10g at a time especially £80 is a lot for me, especially when my body doesnt like the flower.

Thanks Moon. Yes I had La confidential last month and thought it would be perfect for me as a real pure Indica. It came in 3 huge buds. Gave me nausea after 1 hit and the effects for me were muted overall. Like something was missing. I ended up going through it really fast just to get rid of it really.

I get where your coming from @eeze95 and if the Pure Sunfarms™ Pink Kush was a little stronger in effect this could help a bit more i would say for sleep and I like the Jet Fuel Gelato also as it helps my mood greatly .As for costs the 5g should help finding suitable strains and hopefully soon more brands/strains will do this .

As for Kush personally nothing came close to the Maple Kush I had last year that was grown in living soil but it wasn't the best trimmed or best looking an that but I savoured it early evening each night while I had it and even used the leaves at the end
Also some Kush's can get a bit strong for me like dancing with the devil so I tend to go lower THC where as you may prefer stronger .
The strain below has two different THC levels and I've seen reviews of it being Kushy but have not tried it yet .

Same for me, my best sleeper so far is a relatively weak Pure Sunfarms™ T21 Pink Kush which amazes me, it’s the weakest strain I have yet it knocks me out and gives me a good 8 hours sleep! Which just goes to show strength can mean nothing! I can also sleep well after GMO T30 but it does incur a hang over the next morning!

I have also discovered that any bud with a major of Caryophyllene makes me cough badly in the vape (especially Lavender Cake and Frosted Lomen Angle). As an experiment i made pure joints with those and then did not cough, which is odd but there you go!

I'm only a couple of months into medical and have tried to religiously stick to the vape, however the coughing Caryophyllene and then a couple of buds appeared to do nothing to me in the vape yet others here were pleased with them namely Gelato and NYC Diesel So i have also tried those in pure joints and then they worked wonderfully! So I am now feeling a bit confused myself. The vape makes some strains stronger for me and some weaker, very strange. So, I am now smoking those strains in pure joints and now enjoying them. It’s a journey..

That strain looks very appealing to be honest. Terp profile looks great. Linaool is really great at bringing the anxiety down. Sometimes i mix a bit of dried lavender into my joints just for this reason.

Hello and welcome, and I'm with you on this mate, to be brutally honest iv read that much that goes on behind the scenes that as an ex grower ehat iv seen heard read, seen is just an absolute eye opener, literally the only way I feel safe as well as property medicated is back to my own, where I know they only thing I baught was organic living soil from ecothrive and its hard to say its the first time iv seen stuff look they way it should fo and not the PGR, this needs to be brought up more and more , as ypu said the high I can tell you is completely different legal med bud. I dont touch anything over 22 as I got a 22 and puffed a doob and nouthing, the next time I puffed 1 I was literally tripping balls and everything iv had from day 1 I noticed it looked burned brown, when making cannabutter decarbonating the weed before cooking when the tray comes out the stuff looks like medical brown bud, I seen a reviewing on YouTube and the guy was amazed by stuff he got , saying wow look .... this is the first time if ever seen green weed , That's a huge problem in itself. It should be green and nor irrigated and cured in the drying from chop to jar.

Not only does it add weight they can add THC , terpenes size weight to the same looks size everytime.

That does look very green!!!!!! Actually looks like a plant. And yeah the CBD/CBG content of medical flower being non existent is crazy. Especially with so many people prescribed for mental health issues. I think one of the reasons I love hash is the high CBG(or cbn?) content. That does look very green!!!!!! Actually looks like a plant. And yeah the CBD/CBG content of medical flower being non existent is crazy. Especially with so many people prescribed for mental health issues. I think one of the reasons I love hash is the high CBG content. In the grape vine iv heard most or many are bringing back hash due to that reason that hash is made with all the goodness and your getting all the terpenes, and ye can't best an old hash doobie, bombers everywhere

Hi guys. This has been my first year on MC and am just wondering about something. A LOT of the flower ive had so far have given me instant nausea like my body is trying to reject it. Im an experienced cannabis user and have never had this problem with bm weed or hash before. Also this same year ive started MC I started getting styes and cysts around my left eye. Again this is a problem ive never had in my life before.

Did some googling and found some pages on pgr weed and side effects of those synthetic chemicals which include nausea/vomiting, skin/eye irritations etc.

I am super sensitive to chemicals in general. I cant use most cleaning products and lots of the shower gels because they give me allergic reactions.

I stopped usong the flower and switched to carts and my eye problems stopped completely. Only after reading about PGRs did I put 2 and 2 together.

Also looking at pictures of pgr buds a lot of the flower ive had looks like that. Haa anyone else had issues like this? I posted this on reddit but they just assumed im a dirty guy who doesnt wash his face which couldnt be further from the truth. Also that whole subreddit seems to be a giant advertisement for Aurora® flower which ive had problems with every strain ive had from them regarding this issue of nausea and eye irritations.
