This is what I keep meaning to ask, underneath the RT the little metal fan thing that moves around!! is it suppose to spin freely when inhaled? because I'm pretty sure there is too much resistance for it to spin freely on mine?

Just checked for you, i can move mine either way with my little finger, easily. In the standard bowl i get the bud twirling effect on a good suck.

Possibilities: you got a duffer, its got stuck with bud or vapour oil?

Very pleased to hear you like it. The widget inside the housing at the bottom doesn't and can't spin, it spins the airflow, it itself does not move. I hope this clarifies things!

Been pressing up my Strawberry OG earlier to see if i can make it do more to me, and it's quite disapointing, actually hit a 17% return for the first time (i now press more than once!), but it tastes like nothing and does not do much more than the bud in the dab pen or banger. I guess just a poor strain.

Looking at our journeys in MC and the expense of the tools of our trade, funny watching new people make the same mistakes going through all the vapes etc before arriving at the mighty for portable and the ultimate desktop the Ruby! At least we save the ones asking about it here!

If you’re interested in dabbing in hindsight I would now say just buy a decent banger / dab rig like the terp slurp and a blow torch, save the money of the journey, once you have tried the terp slurp dabbing with anything else is sort of pointless, he says whilst inhaling Jokers Candy from a crossland dab pen whilst typing! (which is okay as a portable get you by dabber).

Last night i dropped the Ruby temp from 275c with the micro dose to 260c, all good, still felt the proper hit missing at the lower mighty temps, bit more flavour, bit gentler, but i was not coughing at the 275 anyway, might go much higher tonight chasing the high, just to see!

That's the wireless one hit wonder kit on the left, my chugga bong on the right, with a rubytwist matrix bowl and a one hit wonder part sitting in the bowl i think.

How much do I need to budget for the set up? Sounds like we can get it in parts, keep adding or?

The WOHW kit is £230 but it's luxury, the ruby twist kit at 190 is just as good but not as cool looking! Both appear to use the same heating coils and the same matrix bowl. We all bought the ruby kit on this thread so far, the chugga bong was 58. You can always keep adding more parts like me adding the matrix bowl order today, more toys!

After yesterdays glass cleaning i have decided i defo need a dedicated dab rig to seperate the bud ruby equipment from the dabbing gear, so off on a glass hunt for my terp slurp today. As usuall I have to research it to death, and have come across my first hurdle, wet vs dry, IE water in rig or no water in rig. Dilemas.
