Mamedica®® offer a low-income Access Scheme with a one-off £200 payment which includes consultations/repeats prescriptions for new patients, subject to approval.
Limit of utilising one pharmacy per month, with one script written for full 30 day supply.
Will only prescribe cannabis flower in increments of 10g or 15g.
If you are not deemed suitable for prescribing your initial consultation fee will be refunded.

I dont really understand why you should wait days for a doctor to sign off medication.
Do Cardiff sign your prescription the same day you order it and then send it to a pharmacy

My experience has been it's always same day, unless you miss their cut off for posting i guess

Every time I've put it a request in I've either done it earlier than 3pm, or at the weekend. In the former case it's always been same day, and the latter it's been Monday, script signed and posted to the pharmacy. The big benefit is that we are always going direct to the consultant, so there's no faffing about in-between.

I've only had it once where the pharmacy had run out of one item by the time the script arrived the next day and in that case it was Cannabis Clinic Cardiff contacted me to ask me what to rewrite so they could get it out same day to get in fixed for me asap. With Mamedica® you always have to contact them and they seem to do their best to ignore you, or mess you about.

I moved from Mamedica and the increase of service level at CCC has been phenomenal

I have had another message of the pharmacy manager explaining if I need more medication speak to the team and let them know that I have a claim being investigated.
This is what I did on Friday and was told I was not allowed because it is against the law
 
5 days now with no medication
They are not good for health at this point mate and really don't seem to have your needs in mind or want to see it from your point of view.
Disgraceful if you ask me !!

I just can't believe it I did get a new prescription for 10g but I can't pay for it as I had already told them because I gave them £300 on Thursday.
There are too many people and too many departments there now and as soon as there is any problem they can't cope

That's what came across from your post ,no coherency as one will say one thing then another department something else and was my experience there when a problem arose yet other places would of rectified this or found a solution .
Even if you were to cancel your original script and resubmit it to free up funds they would charge you for that as well :(
 
I don't know how they can work like that.
Getting put through to different departments and people saying why have they put you through to me. Having conversations and then having to explain yourself again and again to different people when it could be written on my file for monitoring purposes

Nice and supportive of them and you really need people you can entrust with care MC wise to de dealing with things I'd suggest and me you have sat chatting about this stuff since we both joined the forum and you know your options and how me and my wife are at our respective clinics .

I have just been on phone to CB1 Medical
I really want to join Cardiff though I just need to get the joining fee sorted out.
I think I would really benefit from dr daves knowledge about cannabis and neuropathy.
I could even end up having something like a specific oil which is really good or something.
Also knowing I can get all medications when I need them at the right prices.
I am going to give them a ring

Exactly my thinking regards my wife and Dr Dave's experience as I think he could help enormously and that is not anything against CB1 it's more a personal need for maybe a more expanded conversation on how MC can help with her symptoms as I'm sure it could be more beneficial and this has been top of my mind since my consultation but I just know If I mention the joining fee I'll get castrated lol but all in all it's my aim to get this sorted soon as and my wife actually thought I was talking to her doctor the other day when we were talking about her health .:giggle:

We've sort of got to do it for the best outcome I feel for my wife and the sooner the better as her health is on the up and we just want to do all we can to maintain this and even improve it further and I sort of get the feel you are at that point for your reasons .

Which is only natural.
Cardiff are giving me a ring later to explain about everything but I am in a similar position where I have not got the money for the signing on fee due to being ill.
I will ask when they ring is there any way of spreading the cost of the sign up fee as it would be helpful for me and your wife.
