Vapes Looking for a vape never used one before.

Looking for a dry herb vape. Never used one before like the idea of a electronic one rather then heating myself. I am a new comer to med also and struggling with getting dosage right due to not consuming cannabis for about 2 years now it just seems to rock me.

Welcome to the community @isaacsmikey97 and I have both types as in a ruby twist where you place the heat directly above the cannabis but I also a have an arizer xq2 which fills a bag with vapor much like the volcano does and also has a whip option that basically you suck the vapor through as you wish or fan assisted for the brave .

As for portables devices I use the storz & bickel mighty which is great and easy to use as you just grind the herb fill the chamber or capsule then close it and press a button and it heats to your desired temp up to 210 degrees but I find the sweet spot around 180-184 degrees but also with lower temps it hits less and this sort of thing sounds like it could help you as you rebuild your tolerance up by starting low until you get accustomed to it then gradually raising temps over time to get the right balance of relief but not being rocked by it . This could also be strain dependant and some will rock you more than others so another factor to bare in mind .

i would honestly just grab one of the arizers
comes with a lot of glass as well as extras
easy to clean
and i think like the solo 2 is around 100

I have the story and Bickel mighty and really like the vapour it produces and the dosing capsules which I can pre fill a day or two in advance then just pop one in when needed. They hold 0.15g so it’s easy to get consistent dosing.

Like @GrownHealth I also have a mighty, the capsules work great- Especially if you buy a few of them. Makes it easier to load a few for the day whilst you're out.

Welcome @Joshyy and the ease of use is great on the storz & bickel vapes like you say but they also cost a pretty penny sadly for a first vape too and if you get it wrong it soon adds up but like you I find the mighty quite adequate and even better when it had a water bubbler on it

I'll vouch for the Storz & Bickel Mighty/Mighty+/Volcano/Volcano Hybrid.

The Mighty+ Medic and Volcano Medic are the only two devices that are "approved" in some way for medicinal cannabis use, and therefore the only devices where it actually tells you in the instruction manual how many mg of THC you are likely to end up with in your bloodstream by using their devices. The non-medic versions of these are identical though, so just a case of which one you find cheaper.

Thank you for the welcome, @GrownHealth, much appreciated. It is quite spenny in terms of first vapes, but also if you go too cheap, you’ll only end up buying another anyway.

Im going to look into the water bubbler now as I didnt know you could get those. Does this help with a smoother hit?

Welcome back @Joshyy and in answer to your question a water bubbler certainly helped me with a smoother hit as I could ramp the mighty up to 200 degrees whith no negative taste but a much better hit off the vape and just by having your mouth a lot further away from the heat source helps a lot I'd say ,also the water bubbler for me showed me how good/effective the mighty actually can be and I certainly would recommend a water bubbler for a smoother hit

Do you have any budget in mind? Tinymight all day for me no question but it isn’t cheap. Then again it is built to last, easily serviceable and repairable, so it is give and take. For me the fully isolated air path (not just from the heater like others), no plastic (peek or otherwise), hot swappable batteries that cost £6-7 each, all spares readily available, and repairs a genuine option, insane full convection performance, and stunning build quality, make it worth it, but it is a bit of an investment. I wil also say it’s the only vape that has made me genuinely not want to smoke because it’s just so much better. With other vapes, solo 2/3, crafty, even the volcano, I would still smoke here and there. The tinymight just hits the spot for me but that’s just me so take it for what it’s worth. For others, a simpler, more sturdy, more affordable mighty, can be a better option. Or indeed the solo 2 I think is a sensational more budget friendly pick. They’re not much over £100 these days and I used one exclusively for years and loved it until the battery died.
