Congratulations on being acceptedUpdate from the other week, I am now accepted into Medicann the clinic staff and Dr Sunny are amazing in their approach very kind! I am experienced in cannabis and self medicating, Dr Sunny said to try Indica at first but there are only two strains listed under Indica and non irradiated, as I am on low income at this time so i just want decent lower price options, just waiting on payday to order my first, does any one know if I have to contact them to give me more listed strains on the app? Many thanks and its a good feeling to finally be medical![]()
Thank you very muchCongratulations on being accepted
Hopefully by the time you come to order even more may be availablebut one at the lower end of prices when it is in stock again is Mac Doughnuts and although described as Hybrid it's effects are very Indica like as in sedating and it's also non irradiated so one possibly to consider when it reappears .
I suppose the next best thing to a full on Indica would be an Indica leaning Hybrid as I imagine a lot more strains fall into this category that would hopefully prove effective and give you more choice at the lower end of prices but rest assured there are some fine effective strains nowadays for between £4 & £6
Also bare in mind you could order now to secure the items you wanted and then pay when it's suits you over the next few weeks as you are not obliged to pay instantly as the prescription is valid for a month .
glad to hear your feedback re: friendly staff, i had to speak to the staff at CB1 Medical recently and they were awful.Update from the other week, I am now accepted into Medicann the clinic staff and Dr Sunny are amazing in their approach very kind! It's easy to justify, they have no partner pharmacy and can't recoup clinic losses against their own pharmacy sales. Every clinic would/will be £200+ per year if all clinics trying to limit treatment/pharmacy options to their own commercial formulary/partner was properly shut down by regulators. We shouldn't be seeing doctors only considering their own contracted clinic's brands/meds whatsoever, especially without any conflict of interest declared (as GMC guidance states they must.)I cant justify Cannabis Clinic Cardiff's pricing in any way shape or form anymore, yes they're a great clinic but so are many of the cheaper options now
I totally respect where your coming from but £550 your first year with £250 upfront is well out of most peoples ballpark, you can insure a car for less than that... If they halved or quartered their costs they would probably make more money with sheer volume of patients over less patients at higher cost, even waive sign up fees for a limited time and I guarantee they would get way more traffic coming their wayIt's easy to justify, they have no partner pharmacy and can't recoup clinic losses against their own pharmacy sales. Specialist doctors cost around £200ph, add up how much time you'll cost a clinic over the course of a year - and you'll realise quickly the only reason any clinic is able to operate <£200pa at a loss - is from trying to steer what should be an unbiased clinic service, into biasing their own products and pharmacy dispensing to recoup the clinic's operating losses. The amount of time taken by a specialist doctor directly can be minimised by using shared care with cheaper GPs, nurses and pharmacists - but it still always costs a clinic a couple of hundred a year at least to handle you as a patient.
As I've said before, if and when regulators finally get on-top of this and make all clinics properly consider all meds/pharmacies, then clinic prices will shoot up, while pharmacies will start competing on pricing below RRP to attract patients to use their services.
You do know way more than most of us here so I can't argue with anything you've said at all I'm just overwhelmed by the price although I know it is most likely worth it in many ways, sorry GH didn't mean for things to get heated earlier hope we good lolThe cost isn't based on affordability for patients but the financial reality for clinics, it's nigh-on impossible for them to quarter fees because they won't break law/regulation by trying to make money from prescribing/pharmacy sales whatsoever to prop up their financial viability - it's effectively impossible to offer fees so low otherwise.
Again, I feel you may be underestimating the true costs of running any clinic that doesn't also financially benefit from dispensing medication. It is really not economically possible for a clinic to lose money on the cost of care, without recouping that in some manner. The entire UK industry is based on clinics trying to funnel patients to their own brands/pharmacy.
My own perspective is Cannabis Clinic Cardiff are not whatsoever trying to compete on price - just offer an honest and just service, complying to regulations beyond almost all other clinics.
Cheers man yeah they are brilliant swift and helpful, sorry to hear about your experience with them at cb1 no one deserves negativity especially medical patients and oh that does sound nice for the price dont think medicann have it in stock but will wait and see. I appreciates your words and infoglad to hear your feedback re: friendly staff, i had to speak to the staff at CB1 Medical recently and they were awful.
i'm not sure if Medicann stock it, but i can also recommend the medicus fruity pebble kush, its £45 and is non irradiated and listed as a Hybrid but its effects are definitely more Indica
Welcome to the forum @Mainbloke94 and I've never heard of this happening with Medical Cannabis as I imagine a few of us would rather pick them up then sitting around guessing what time they'll turn up so that would lead me to think they have to be delivered to the address on the parcel.Has anyone had any experience with collecting a Medicann delivery from the post office rather than having it delivered to your home address?
Ok fair enoughYou do know way more than most of us here so I can't argue with anything you've said at all I'm just overwhelmed by the price although I know it is most likely worth it in many ways, sorry GH didn't mean for things to get heated earlier hope we good lolwe got a theme going on here we love butting heads now n then
