Add some CBD into your monthly usage , doesn`t have to be alot but i use 10g CBD flower to 80g THC flower. I suffer from generic migraines with aura , cluster headaches and vestibular migraines.

Since starting MC generic migraines have prob halved if not more . BM stardawg was great for rest etc but the fuel could bung sinus up and cause or contribute so i use n acetyl cysteine for anti mucolytic effects so i have clear sinus mostly and i would say this helps also helps with alot of other stuff and look into boosting testosterone if low i use shilajit for minerals and test increase and made a difference to some cluster headaches frequency no more 3 day headaches just usually 1.

I found mac 1 was a good preventer for migraines , not a heavy onset but with a good profile bm or MC was good for it. I had the 2 4C Labs mac 1 and both are good got the 27% at moment and would go for that to try only £60 a g if Curaleaf allows.

The curaleaf 10mg THC 10mg CBD pastilles might be a good shout for preventer. Try some vapes but Clearleaf® or Aurora® everything else synthetic and disty.
Curaleaf wise tripoli might be good ssh.

Have a heavy Indica profile and dont be afraid to try stimulating Sativas as it could work just as good , Try looking for preventer and a heavy sedation strain for sleep during attack.

I think the 4C Labs bubba kush would be good if you can get any , Bubba , alien og like black jelly , og kush dom Hybrids all can be good for migraine imo

Thanks for information @Delta 9, really helpful. I tried CBD flower and it didn’t have a good effect for me but CBD oil drops seem to help, I take 10mg to 20mg per day. The doctor also discussed this with me during my first consultation. The BM cannabis choices available to me are stardawg, runtz, haze, cherry hash, cali hash. They all work to some extent to reduce my symptoms. I’ve tried mixing them to see if I get different effects. I vape approx 2g of bud and or hash during the evening. I also vape during the day at weekends which is not possible for me during the week due to working and these strains are not helpful for me in terms of focus or concentration.

For my first prescription I have gone for one Sativa Hybrid, one Indica Hybrid, one Hybrid to see if there is a different effect on my symptoms and also if I can identify one that I can use during the day.

Limited options with CBD flower anyway , If oil helps thats even better. I loved my hash but dry sift f**cked my sinuses up bad that i couldn`t consume so i tried n acetyl cycteine for chest and sinus and now i can consume it with no sinus issues. I felt the dawg was a hit n miss and alot contributed to headaches.

Look at minerals for a boost so that if you dont have sinus issues and not deficient in nutes minerals then id work from there with cannabinoids n terpenes

Hope it eases for you and i am still on the hunt for that 1 or few strains that work with headaches

Well Black Jelly helped as a painkiller, I knew it was a good daytime body painkiller but now I know it also does brain / migrainepain I shall be getting a jar for this one and keeping it re-stocked

Really helped me through the rest of yesterday, feelingmuch better today, in the final stages of it

I've just been looking for a good daytime painkiller, but Medicann don't seem to have Black Jelly. Any other recs?

I’ve just confirmed my 2nd prescription and out of the 3 strains from my first order I wanted to reorder the Jack Herer but it’s not available. It gave me longer and more effective pain relief than purple punch or lavender cake. Not going to lie, there have been moments when I have missed the level of pain relief I got from bm weed but overall the legal medicine is working well for me.

I imagine this new prescription will be more helpful with pain relief but it's a shame you couldn't repeat what worked for you previously and posting links to study's and such is no problem as sharing knowledge gained can only be a good thing

The study does include a strain list which by coincidence includes Jack Herer… I was disappointed especially at £5.50g

The version of Jack Herer you had is pretty new to market so the supply may become more settled would be my guess going forward and there is a more expensive version from DOE called Union Jack Herer available at your pharmacy but it is £30 dearer so in a different ballpark cost wise

That’s premium rate.. it’s not showing in my account formulary at the moment but I think I get access to the larger formulary from my next prescription
