2 years ago my oldest Son had a violent episode of epileptic seizures which he has been prescribed NHS meds to treat his condition.
I would like to ask the community if any one has had any success using any MC products to treat epilepsy or knows anyone that has with positive results.
Thankyou in advance B 💚

Maybe you could ask for some advice of your medical cannabis doctor on your sons behalf and he might refer you to the right people.

I don't personally know anybody who takes it for epilepsy but I have seen positive results on videos

How old is your son mate

Me, I have grand mal or tonic clonic new name, full loss concious blue lips etc. Was 6 months seizure free there but took 1 in september when i went without meds and stress with dwp.

I have always used flower for control mainly high sedation strains , Myrcene my main terp, very nice effect with Curaleaf 10mg THC 10mg CBD pastilles.
I used to use CBD as a base for years and this would where i would start with kids, terpinolene i can tolerate but its 1 terp to avoid cos of possibility of adverse effects, Humulene being another 1 cos of appetite suppression , thcv also appetite suppression.

Enhanced appetite and high sedation and good rest i would look for, if too much sedation i find Limonene added with Myrcene good profile for the head and body. If you see Linalool strains but very hard to get 1 being primary terp but lavander was good strain . I rely on certain profiles rather than strains as not good cos of stock, 1 to 1 ratios and CBD dominant oils would b best place to start , no seizure since been on on 1to1 pastilles but will go for oil next time.

CBD brothers i would contact them for a good base oil they will help out , dutch natural healing superb products and holistic hemp scotland for raw CBD paste which worked as a gd base

Thank-you @Delta 9 🙏🏼
All this information you have kindly passed on is invaluable and I'm with my Son atm and have read your comments to him which he is grateful to yourself also 💯
This is something that has been at the back of my mind for some time allways thinking that surely there is a more holistic approach to this condition.
He has no knowledge of any CBD products and myself very little but with your advice and experience with all of the terpenes to avoid is gold dust ✨👌🏻
Hes not keen on flower but would be willing to try oil and pastilles.
Thankyou 🙏🏼💚

No probs , every little helps , i didn't know what age son was so put CBD brothers links up just incase he was under 18 , They helped alot ppl with good CBD oil.
I think the 1 to 1 oil will do wonders as it will keep his endocannabinoids in tip top shape as diminished anandamide , CBD will stop degredation of it so that it can do the work it couldnt before and you then dont need to look at relying on THC too much with higher ratios. If 1 to 1 doesnt work try 2 to 1 THC to CBD ratio.

He will b sound within a week on the oil and no bad side effects from NHS meds 🤞

Definitely 💯
I've personally been off the NHS meds coming on 7 weeks and the site effects that come with my sons meds are very noticeable and I think this could be a god send for him to trial.
He is 26 and does seem keen on my suggestions with your aid here letting him read the tread 👍🏻
Thankyou 💚

Brilliant yer off NHS meds as its a daunting transition , The side effects were bad horrible. He will realise how good or normal canna will make him feel.
He can taper down or replace a dose etc or straight swap but replacing dose n taper might be.

The good thing as it sounds is its controllable with NHS meds but just bad side effects so should be an easy transition

Heavy thing to live with and a heavy thing to live through as a parent

Respect, Onwards n upwards
