Hi, I have absolutely no idea of what anything really means so I’ll be as basic as I understand, I need some advice about the use of CBD for non epileptic seizures, I have been smoking what I guess is known to me as weed, not heavily just a few a day not strong ones, anyway I was having 7to 8 seizures a day since smoking I haven’t had one for 2 weeks, I’m taking anti convulsants as I have epilepsy too, which seems stable, it was recommended to me that I try using CBD but I have no idea where to start, has anyone got any advice that could help me get started please?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
The weed you are smoking probably has less than 1% CBD, so clearly the THC is having some effect. Oil seems like it may be a good option as you can get balanced oils with equal amounts of THC and CBD. Probably the best option is to book a consultation with one of the clinics and speak to a doctor who would have far more understanding of how medical cannabis may interact with your epilepsy and meds

I have grand mal epilepsy (tonic clonic) and have used cannabis for 30 years , I respond to THC but it can be pro and anti convulsant but i can take THC without CBD and be seizure free but they will want you to have some sort of CBD with THC
You could add CBD flower like apricot cheese , mango cheese into THC or take on its own, i personally like to mix it.
I tried some 10mg THC 10mg CBD pastilles but all out of stock at moment and now on grow 20mg THC 10mg CBD oil thats ok
How did they find out it was non epileptic seizures and did they find a cause if you dont mind me asking , Amazing that epilepsy can stay stable whilst taking other seizures, Thats got to be really promising
CBD brothers gummies were amazing for me but interacted with omeprazole , holistic hemp paste was good also and dutch natural healing CBD active all done me well back in the day.
Try pastilles when back in stock but a 1to1 THC CBD ratio might do you ok but THC might just do the trick but have even a little CBD flower as a base with THC flower to start before oil since you already on weed.
Linalool , Myrcene, Caryophyllene for me have anchoring/grounding effects that i need rather than helium balloon to the moon stimulating terpenes but i can handle certain Sativa Hybrid terpenes as long as at least 1 secondary terp is sedative grounding there , Terpinolene i will state can be too stimulating for some so proceed with caution with that terpene.
